I spend just one night here, hotel is above average what made it above average is customer service Mr.Anthony was very helpful and polite, in meeting my needs. If it was not for his professionalism the hotel would just be another average place good job for stepping up and going beyond to please the customer.

My husband and I had planned on spending the night in North Dallas but arrived to find everything for many miles booked due to a race at the Texas Motor Speedway! I started calling hotels farther and farther NW of Dallas and finally found one about 1:30am in Wichita Falls, TX. The girl at the front desk was happy to tell us that she definitely had rooms (though only smoking rooms) available. We took it. I told her we'd be there in 30 minutes. When we arrived she had gone up on the floors for something, but someone in the lobby let us in. She booked us into our room and explained breakfast. Breakfast was only so-so. I had to wait for a server to tell me to seat myself and go ahead and start. I had to wait for a server to bring me a drink (and then refill it). And then I had to find the server to get a check so I could pay and leave. My only complaints are with the quality of the breakfast service and that the front desk girl who checked us in didn't enter my Rewards Club info so I had to spend 15 minutes on the IHG service line to get it added after we'd left.

The room never cooled down. Not sure the AC was working. Also, I had a room which allowed pets. The mattrress protector on the bed had plastic and crinkled everytime I moved. Plus it added to the heat. It was not a very comfortable experience. I would also suggest that you spray your grassy areas where the dogs can walk as mine came back with Whip Worms which you get from walking around areas where pets have soiled, and then when they lick their paws, the worms are transferred into their bloodstream.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was great. We had to ask for more soap and shampoo as the maid did not replenish it every day. The restaurant was poor and had very limited choices, one vegetable a day. The location of the hotel was excellent.

I would like to thank the entire staff at the Holiday Inn for the excellent service that you provided . Your staff made us feel very welcome. We also ate at the hotel and the food was wonderful. Now , we must address the ice tea. It was fabulous on Monday and Tues. The hostess was even kind enough to send me a couple cups back to my room after I drank four glasses with my meal. Thank you again for opening your doors to us and our goldens.
