I was not greeted, more like ignored, when I entered. I pulled out my information and was told that they did not have my reservation and I must be confused with the Holiday Inn Express. I had to pull out my information and show her the location.. I asked if it was in another name because it was booked through my company, gave them my business card and even stated one of three people that may have made the reserveation. I even had the last 4 digits of the credit card it was booked with. One of the three women jumped and said, oh yes, we have a (naming the person), yet the manager told her to shut up and told me again they did not have a reservation in my name. I insisted how would I have known that someone from another country with that name made the reservation from my same company and I just drove up to the middle of no where to take her room. She insisted I call the UK as if anyone would be working at that hour to prove it. As if the staff were not rude enough, the room felt dirty, there were no overhead lights, and I had to unplug a lamp to plug in my phone and computer. Because I had to unplug the lighting, I ended up leaving a charging cord there. I called the hotel two days in a row and contacted Holiday Inn also, both in person and online, and no one has yet to call me back with where my charger is. Three different avenues and no response. The worst customer service ever by Holiday Inn both on site and through the online site. I would never recommend this place.

All above we're very enjoyable. Staff could use some training on welcoming guests to the facility by working with the IHG hotels in LA and MS. Facilities could use a facelift.

Had a reservation for non-smoking room. When I arrived, all they had was a smoking room. Noisy in hallways up to 2 am. Not a very clean place!

Holiday Inn gave the symphony a special 6:00 pm checkout. This made it impossible for housekeeping to get the rooms ready for those checking in on Saturday. MANY people were unable to check in to their rooms until after 10:00 pm, some not at all. Either you can't give the symphony a 6:00 pm checkout or they have to pay for 2 nights. The hotel staff did their very best to deal with some extremely unhappy guests. The manager should have stayed to help the gentleman Saturday night. It was inexcusable for the manager to go home and leave the counter staff to deal with the mess he, and corporate, created. The ladies and gentlemen that staff checkin have always been so kind and helpful. I really felt sorry for the unfortunate situation they were forced into. It was not their fault!

The average review of this hotel is about right. Its not bad, but it's not really great. Lights were out in the room. The air unit would only function during certain hours and the halls smelled of smoke, even though we had a non-smoking room. I'm guessing the reason for the smell is that they had split the floor in half. One half was smoking rooms and the other was non-smoking.
Finally, they didn't acknowledge my priority club status. I got the impression we were a bother to the man behind the desk.
On a good note - the other staff were really helpful when I asked them about directions.
Basically, the hotel worked into our route and I got the points, but I wouldn't stay there again. Rather choose a city closer or further along.

Very nice, clean room, nice bed, flat screen TV. Would stay again.
