Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wait until Remodeling is Complete The 8th and 9th floors are completely remodeled. We were put on the 8th floor. I thought the room was nice when we walked in and had a good feeling until this very very loud drilling started right below us. It was so loud that when I called the front desk, I couldn't even hear the clerk on the other end of the phone. First, we were promised to be moved to another remodeled room away from the drilling, then we were called back saying there were no other remodeled rooms available and it would have to be an older room. The desk clerk told me he would check into giving us some credit back on our reward points. Shortly after that we were given a certificate to use in the restaurant and never heard anything about credit on our reward points. We decided to use the certificate for breakfast. Unfortunately, breakfast may not have been the best choice as it wasn't that good. Many other hotel chains offer free coffee in their lobby throughout the day, but this one only offers it up until 10am. The convenience to the mall was great and the shuttle driver was very personable. Bottom line, you might want to wait until the site is completely remodeled because it looks like it will be nice when it's finished. December 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by what a night Our surprise began when we arrived and thought the hotel had been hit by a tornado...not kidding. It is under renovation, and it took two trips around it to find the temporary entrance. The lobby looked beautiful however, and the staff was very nice, so we decided to stay. Noticing a lot of police cars at the mall next door, we got a little nervous, then realized it was a demonstration. We watched from the window. Someone pulled the fire alarm during the evening, and we started down the 8 flights of stairs, but another guest said they saw some young guys pull the alarm, so we returned to the room and watched the fire trucks out the window. Next, the people next door arrived and were very noisy. We turned the fan on to drown it out, and eventually went to sleep. Did not enjoy the stay but can't blame the staff. They were great. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place Caught them in the middle of rennovaitons so tha was a bit of a hassle and didnt look good but that cant be helped. My room on the 8th floor looked like it had been updated recently but the hallway looked like it needed an update. Overall a great place to stay. Great location also right off the interstate and on Rock Road which has everything you need. December 1, 2014
