Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and pleasant I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express because it was close to the Wichita VA where I had business, My only disappointment was they do not offer a free breakfast and for over $100, I thought they might. The hotel was undergoing renovation so the parking lot was crowded with work vehicles, but the reconstruction did not disturb anything I needed. The room was clean and the staff friendly. I felt safe and had a good night's sleep. What more can you ask on business? August 28, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Service I had problems with the TV in the room. Desk Clerk moved me to another room and the same problem was going on with the TV in that room also. They had recently changed their cable service and was having problems. I was already stressing because the reason of my visit to Wichita. My mother in law passed and they were very sympathetic and understood my feelings. My stay at the Holiday Inn was for 5 days. The manager and the head technician did everything possible to make my stay comfortable. At the end of my stay I was very satisfied and will return to that Holiday Inn only if I ever return to Wichita. Thank you Management August 25, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Early morning arrival I own PowerHouse Moving concepts out of Plano, Texas. On a recent move from Sachse, Texas to Oletha, Kansas, we left Sachse, Texas at approx. 6:00 pm with two trucks loaded to the brim. We arrived in Wichita, Kansas at approx. 2:00 am needing sleep desperately. We pulled our rigs into the hotel parking and went in to inquire about room availability. Ann was at the desk and was very friendly and concern as we had to look awfully tired. there were three (3) of us who needed rooms. Ann put two of us in a room with two beds and put me in a room with a king size bed. She applied AAA discounts and sent us to our rooms. Slept great in very clean rooms that were cool (perfect for sleep). We awoke at 6:00 am ; had a great breakfast and off we went on t Oletha Kansas. We were all very grateful to Ann for finding us the rooms at a great price and a great nights sleep (albeit very short). Thanks again. We will return and stay at this hotel. August 15, 2014

Slamming doors from other guests exit/entering a little disturbing but very common in hotels. A little congestion around hotel due to hotel update but nothing dramatic. Either I couldn't make a wireless connection or once I did the speeds were painfully slow. Rest of the property looked like it was under some sort of remodel but nothing was posted anyway. The rooms,staff and service were first class and they had a great restaurant within the hotel. We enjoyed the fact we could walk to the restaurant have a very nice meal and drinks and return to our room without ever leaving the building. We definitely would recommend this Holiday. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfy beds and awesome restaurant I made this reservation at the last minute when we changed travel plans. I didn't know the hotel was older and under Renovation. In the end it didn't matter. The staff was amazing. We didn't get to the hotel until 11:00 pm. The check in process was quick and easy. He apologized for no room upgrades because of renovations. He did offer me the bonus points. When we got to the room the air conditioner wasn't working. We were immediately moved to a new room and given a $20 credit to the restaurant. The new room was actually on a quieter floor. The beds were very comfy. Room was extremely clean and quiet. The Green Mill Restaurant was amazing for breakfast. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Wichita This was my first stay at this hotel, and I understand they have been remodeling for quite some time now. Perhaps they should speed up the remodel. The lobby had signs regarding the remodel and there was a bit of construction going on. Check In was nice and efficient. I was a little surprised that I wasn't offered any kind of bottled water being that I'm an IHG member (all of the other Holiday Inn hotels I've stayed at made that offer). When I arrived at my room, I could not close the door because the door was warped. Had to slam the door to get it to close. I'm sure that the people in the adjoining rooms weren't pleased. While the room itself was clean, the air vents were filthy. I don't think they were ever cleaned since day 1. There was only 1 available electrical outlet in the living area. In this day and age, people use cell phones, computers, gaming devices, etc. Take your choice on the 1 device to charge. The bed wasn't very comfortable, so the quality of my sleep was not very good. Had dinner the first night of my stay and breakfast the first morning. Can't say that the food was very good, but the wait staff was friendly. Overall, not the best stay. July 28, 2014

I enjoyed hearing from Nick that his wife is having a baby boy soon...he showed me a photo of how he had painted trees, etc on the son's bedroom walls. I would like to see Nick paint palm trees, etc on the blank walls at the pool, etc. That would look really nice and would be a unique feature. July 8, 2014

Not Mr. or Ms, but "HEY BUDDIE" unprofessional, and I do not particularly like it 2) Recently the Green Mill Bar Staff start closing up the bar as early as 10:30PM.. Bad enough you close at 11:00pm, but to start locking up the bar at 10:30 is a reflection of no management in the bar. its a do as I please atmosphere 3) Positive notes include Restaurant servers Stephanie, Aaron and Lula who are very good and efficient. 4) Barb at the front desk is extremely good, friendly and attentive. 5) Vicky and Jeremiah are top notch/ June 30, 2014

The noise during the night kept me awake for most of the night due to a large a/c unit being right outside my room window. It kept going on and off all night disturbing my sleep. Everyone is ready and standing by to help with what ever your need might require. I was there for my daughter's wedding. We had the wedding reception in the south ballroom right off the main lobby. We had a lot of last minute changes and request. The staff there handled it all beautify. You'll never have to look for any one because they are all right where they should be. Standing by to help. Not as comfortable as it could have been. At least one other patron asked the staff to check on his AC unit as well. The hallway was warm (no air at all).
