Stayed here while driving cross country with the family and the dog. The staff was very courteous, the lodgings were fantastic, and the breakfast was memorable (the restaurant decor is like an western saloon). Would stay here again when visiting the area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Randy04 Good Room no jacuzzi
Staff was great, restaurant was good. But beware that a jacuzzi suite is a room with a bathtub sized for one person that blows bubbles. Description is very misleading and not worth the price difference!!! Hotel indoor pool and hot tub are nice.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by traveller15 Great location
We stayed at the HI in Williams primarily to visit the Grand Canyon. While there is a HI prpoerty closer, the area around that one does not offer the access to restaurants and other activities like Williams does. The staff at the Williams HI are some of the friendliest and most supportive of any location I can remember in the US. The breakfast was very tasty and very filling, a good value. Williams is a small little town on the old Rt 66, about one hour from the Grand Canyon. The town also offers Bearizona, an opportunity to see bears, bison and wolves in a natural (drive-thru) habitat. We would definitiely look at the Williams HI if we get back to the area.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cathyje Not as pleasant experience as usual
There were cob webs visible by the side of the drapes. Also, the commode seat loose. When sat down, it moved and pinched and bruised my thigh bad. When checking out, reported to front desk. She seemed to be writing it down and said she would notify housekeeping staff.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RichardP Great place to stay to take the Train to the Grand Canyon
We stayed here for 2 nights. We took the train to the Grand Canyon -- an easy walk from the hotel to the train station (10 minute walk). The very best way to visit the Canyon. They have a nice breakfast at the hotel (reasonable price), and a nice gift shop, too. They have a large indoor pool and exercise room. The lobby was decorated for Christmas. The town is a lovely place with some nice restaurants.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by discustedpatron Extremely disappointed
Stayed 2 nights. Complained re the guests above us that sounded like a heard of elephants between 11.30 and 1 am. I specifically asked the front desk attendant if these people were staying or checking out. She informed me they were checking out, but at 10 pm the next night they were high wide and noisy, the same as the previous night. I complimented the same girl on the desk upon checkout- that I don't appreciate being lied too!!! Also on trying to pay for breakfast the first morning "Gabi" had to "check" to see if we were staying in the hotel. We all were in tshirts while the weather was freezing out...so why would we walk in off the street that way. I will certainly not recommend Holiday Inn again based on this extremely poor experience

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by teacher35 Comfortable bed and great service.
This is the second or third time we have stayed at your hotel in Williams. We always enjoy the room and service. We do miss the free breakfast that is served at most Holiday Inn Properties.
Maybe you could include a coupon for your dining on property.
Thank you

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lexy Less Expensive than Flagstaff
We chose to stay here in Williams as it was less expensive for us, and there is also more room to park our truck and trailer. Also, the last time we were at the HIE in Flagstaff, it was packed out, and had no internet available. Will we stay here again? Probably, even though it is an older facility and does not provide breakfast. We really wish we had had more time to use the pool, it looked lovely. The attached restaurant left a little to be desired, with slow service and not high quality food. But there some fast food places in walking distance.

Dinner at Doc Hollidays was OK in the evening. Breakfast was far from satisfactory. There was a large buffet but also a large bus load of tourists arrived for breakfast. The service was extremely poor and the food was cold. There was nobody to complain to, so we checked out and stopped in Williams for breakfast. Waitress "Baby"? did all she was capable of doing. We noticed a poor attitude from the start when she decided where we would sit. The hotel is below H.I. standards. It is time to put this one out to pasture. Definitely will not recommend the hotel.

Olivia checked us in and was very pleasant, courteous, friendly, and professional. She is an asset to this hotel.
I have had trouble, several times, with the online reservation system. The online system reverts back to the first page after gong through a couple of screens. I usually give up and call the 800 reservation service. Let me know if you fix it.

Very disappointing--had suite--did not know that had to walk through one bedroom to get to the bathroom. Not up to usual Holiday Inn standards.
