Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by You can find better Tried to get in the other Holiday Inns but they were sold out. I was told this property was refurbished in 2010. There is no way this could be true. I worked for HI many years ago and have stayed at over 30 properties in the past and this by far was the least appealing. Room and towels were clean but tub and fixtures were old, a little mold in the tile, paint splatter by windows, door and frames have been painted several times, no fan in the bathroom so it steams up badly, hair dryer is weak, AC had to be set to 65 to get a comfortable temperature, outlets are old and few. TV, beds, lamps, desk and chairs were fairly new and comfortable. Bed skirt was held together with a metal pin which by leg found. Microwave was fine but it had a dial so you really could not set it for seconds only minutes. Pool looked depressed and had a note on the door that it was closed for a party but I never saw a party it there. You can do better. August 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely time We arrived to Williamsburg, VA at 10:30 p.m. without reservations and with pets. Once we contacted Holiday Inn. They were able to accommodate us with in few minutes we were in a nice clean bedroom. They have highly trained staff that make our stas a pleasant one! August 14, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very Disappointed This Holiday Inn is in desperate need of renovations. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn hotels and I must say this was the most disappointing. Hallways and elevators had bits of trash everywhere. Inside the room we noticed stains along the walls, lampshades and one of the towels did have a stain on it as well. I think that filters were used on the the advertising photos because the wallpaper and shades are all a slight dull yellow. The hotel bothered us enough that we decided at the beginning of our second night to just leave and go home instead of staying. August 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's Williamsburg! While this is an older property, other reviews I read said it is in the process of being updated. While I saw no sign of this myself, I must admit I didn't go looking! The front desk receptionists were friendly and helpful. We were given a room on the third floor that was comfortable enough. As other reviewers have stated, the outlets are old and not plentiful. The elevator constantly smelled of smoke. I admit, I even sprayed it once with air freshener, as I didn't want to arrive at a meeting later that day smelling like smoke. All that said, I used Priority Club points to book this at a PointsBreak rate. I couldn't be happier to have stayed there and gotten to visit Williamsburg and its environs for two days, when otherwise we would have only stayed one. And by the way, the little Snow Cone/ Ice Cream place just down the road on the left, towards the historical portion of the city, is a "must stop"! August 5, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs refurbishing, poor front desk service, terible WIFI The property was not maintained well. Air conditioner was noisy but did keep the room cool. The room wireless WIFI barely worked. From talking to the front desk and the manager that has been a problem for awhile. About half the front desk staff was not very good. A fire alarm went off on our next to last day and the staff didn't seem to be trained for what to do. We stayed 4 days and would have moved to another property but were busy with a niece's wedding. This was one of the worst Holiday Inns that we had ever stayed in. August 1, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Give it 2 stars out of 5 overall This hotel is very old and out dated, need to be renovated. It is not worth the price you pay. The doors to the room did not close correctly, had to slam it for it to work. Carpet is old and smelly. Thank goodness I had air fresher spray in my car. Buffet Breakfast was 2 out of 5 stars. There is a Holiday Inn Express down the road will try them next time. July 24, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by outdated hotel It appears that the hotel is gradually updating ; however, there are still renovations that need to be made. The air conditioners in the room was very loud, wifi did not work consistently, rooms were not friendly for techies or business travelers (lack of outlets near/on desk/night stand, no resturant regularly open). Outlet in my room had a short. The hotel is located in a great area & staff were nice and accomodating. July 22, 2014
