Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Friendly and courteous staff The hotel is consistently good for this price level. The rooms are clean. The staff is courteous and friendly. We did not eat at the James because a dinner we had there in the spring was not good-unappetizing hamburgers-not good quality. We do usually get room service for breakfast and that is fine. It would be nice to have a toaster available in the rooms. My mother is on a special diet and brings her own bread and I bring my own cereal so its nice to have a refrig in the room. The house keeping and room service is very good as is the maintenace man who tried hard to troubleshoot the tv problem but it was a cable problem. October 29, 2014

Having to park on one side of the building and walk through to the other the other side was terrible especially for a handicapped person and there were no carts to take my bags to the room so I had to make 3 trips then I was charged $40 on my card for incidentals which I found out because I went to buy dinner and did not have enough because of this hold!! The person at the desk did not tell me this would be done!! The last time I stayed on the other side of the building and incidentals was $20. When I spoke to the desk person about it he made some stupid excuse as to why it was different and that I agreed when I signed the check-in form and should have read it before signing!! Restaurant out dated, Staff did not clean up buffet after party left and tables were not clean. Front desk staff was rude when we pointed out our displeasure. October 2, 2014
