Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Property needs upgrading This was the most disappointing stay I have had at a Holiday Inn. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishing. the room was shabby with holes in the curtains, lamp shade that was falling apart, toilet that had to keep the tank cover off so that I could manually seat the flapper so it would not run all of the time. The control on the shower was backward, so that to get hot water you barely turn it on. I waited ten minutes for hot water since normally you turn the faucet more for hot and less for cold. The fitness center needs upgrading. Had to go to three ice machines to find one that worked. The breakfast was mediocre with only one person trying to cover all tables. When checking in, the staff person looked put out to help me. It was as if I was not there at first. The only good thing that I have to say is the bed was apparently new and was comfortable. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fly drivepkg We love this option however they have reduced the number of nights free parking with room to . we will most likely change to another hotel that offers more nights (better value). We don't know why they changed police. Extra nights do not cost them a penny and fills rooms. Guess they just can. The staff is the best! Hotel is always spotless and the drivers are very courteous. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms Could use a Refresh I would recommend it for value. I'm sure it was a very good hotel in it's day: however, the rooms are dated now and could use a refresh. The bar and restaurant are quite good for a H.I. I'll continue to use this hotel as the location is good for me and our Corporate rate is good. Very difficult to control the hot/cold water setting in the shower. I wasted a lot of time and water making adjustments. The staff were great. March 26, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I know hotel is trying to get better I am diasbled. Was able to get room, but I had to walk down THREE long hall ways to get to/from room? Insane! Housekeeping was poor at best! Long,dark hairs on my bathroom floor when I first entered room, never cleaned up my entire stay. Dust bunnies under tv cabinet. No Kleenex in room, during cough/cold season. Had to ask housekeeping staff twice for a box of tissue, finally got one from a passing housekeeper. Computer for guest use was down. NO sign alerting guests to this situation. I sat there for about 40 minutes, asking 10 employees (including hotel manager) for assistance, all of them throwing hands up in the air and passing the buck on to other employees. Finally a maintainance man saw me sitting there and he and I tried to diagnose problem: broken mouse. No computer for guest to use until it was repaired. Hotel restaurant/room service limited hours. No wonder I saw so many delivery boys from local restaurants. Salad bar vegetables FROZEN... I paid my bill and left for Denny's to get something that I was able to eat. Power outsage Sat night... not hotel fault... when I called froint desk, they confirmed. No offer of flashlights to get around dark rooms, they just said to call down for any help needed.
