The hotel is conveniently located with shuttle servide to Midway Airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The full service bar is well tended with a cordial lady who was excellent. I was part of a large family staying at the hotel and they handled the demands very well.

I travel extensively and stay with a variety of IHG hotels around the country. When visiting a new area, I always view the property on IHG's website to make sure the property has been updated. This particular Holiday Inn did not match the description on their website. It is a very dated hotel, with furnishings from what seems like the early 80's. My room was located on the "executive" level, which is nothing more than a hallway separated by a very heavy, unlocked door. The room was clean, but everything was dated, including the 25" tube TV, which did not work. I called the front desk and asked them to please fix the TV. After waiting for over an hour with no assistance, I turned to social media to resolve the problem (Twitter). Within 15 minutes of hearing from an IHG corporate social media representative, the problem was resolved.
I chose this hotel because there was a restaurant on site. When visiting the restaurant for dinner, I was told the kitchen was closed because of an unknown problem; all they had available were drinks and pretzels. I ended up at the Denny's next door, which had the same poor service. The front desk staff was pleasant, but overall it was a terrible stay and I would not offer a recommendation.

I think that this hotel has been around for some time. The rooms need updating and the carpets. Some newer properties in the area have a more inviting feel to them.
Your lobby and restaurant areas look great. Need to consider the remodeling of the rooms.
I may not stay here the next time I am in town until changes are made.

I was in the Chicago area last month for business and stayed at the Marriot. The biggest mistake I ever made was coming here. I would have taken my chances sleeping in my car. The floors are dirty and stained the rooms are outdated. There was a power outage and no hot food when we were there. I immediately called a co worker and told him to cancel his reservation he stayed at the champagne lounge for $20 a night more and had twice the amenities and cleanliness. The sauna did not work and the work out center was a joke. Long story short don't waste your time here. The pictures are lead you on big time.

My disabled son and I came to Chicago for a concert and knew that we would be coming in late. I requested a room on the upper floors because they tend to be quieter than lower floors and we would be sleeping in. Check in was fine and I set up all our electronics and medical equipment so we could go to bed as soon as we got back.
After a 4 hour concert in Chicago, we went out to eat and returned to the hotel at 1am to find signs on all the elevators telling us not to use them. I asked the clerk what happened to all the elevators and was told that they had a power outage and the elevators didn't come back on. She had called and left a message to have a tech come out in the morning. We were able to get another room on the ground floor but had to walk up and down three flights of stairs to pack up all the equipment and set it up in the new room.
As expected, I was awaken a few times by noise in the halls and outside as others were loading up their cars. When I finally got up and went to get breakfast, it was over and the restaurant wouldn't let us use our $5 certificate for breakfast on lunch. When I checked out and told the clerk my frustration with my stay, she just kind of mumbled sorry and did nothing.
While those of you with a good pair of legs will not understand my frustration, those of you in wheelchairs take my warning, their equipment is poor.

I like your hotel very much. Very nice place and a welcome stay away from home. I have stayed at Willowbrook a few times recently, and each time been given the option of selecting a bonus for the stay. Each time I picked the priority club points. And each time I do not get those points. I have tried calling and writing with no luck. Fix this issue and your place is the best. And when filling out this survey is says do not include any personally identifiable information - and then it turns around and says you must have a valid email return address to submit?

i really enjoyed this hotel, i travel alot for work and this hotel was very relaxing the bed was the most comfortable and very nice room. the first night i called to see if they had a room the girl at the desk set everything up with out any problems and she was very nice, the only problem i had was after staying 1 night i needed to stay a extra night and when i called to see if they had any rooms the girl at the front desk said they did have rooms and put me through to reserve the room, this happened 3 times as i was disconnected all 3 times, after the 4th time fininlly a guy answered and set up the room but he was very hateful like i was bothering him. once i got to the hotel the shift had changed and the girl at the front desk was a very pleasent to talk to.

This is a comfortable hotel, easy to find, in a good location for travel within the Chicago suburbs. Pleasant and cheerful staff. A really excellent restaurant with excellent, friendly service. Really good food including a daily 'special.' Will certainly stay there again if we are in that area.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jamie Good Overall Stay
I traveled on business for an IHG conference at another location. My stay was very comfortable. This is an older property, but has been rennovated. The only challenge I had was that I had sent a credit card authorization form ahead of time, when I checked in I confirmed this with the front desk staff, but when I checked out I discovered they had charged the incorrect card. I did call and let accounting know, but I just expensed it with the company so this wasn't a huge issue. As I do work in the industry, and understand that things like this happen.

The beds were nice and stay overall was good. The room had several maintenance issues especially in the bathroom. As a single guy it wasn't a big deal, but maybe for a family.

Recently stayed at this property, fun started at check-in, went to assigned room to find it occupied. Went back to front desk to be told they thought that might happen, really?? Why give me keys to that room. Hallways are hot, dirty and smelly. Beds are mushy soft. room service has limited hours, who stops lunch at 1:30??? Bar/restaurant service is spotty, food is average at best. Never any clean towels at pool, boasts a pool bar that looks like it has not been open in years. I will NOT return to this hotel.

Our family was really looking forward to our stay here because based upon the hotel's website it looked like the best place to stay in the area and had all of the amenities that were looking for. Upon arrival we soon found out that this was not going to be the case, instead it turned out to be the absolute worst experience I have ever had staying at any hotel. The facilities are very, very dated with old tube style TV's in the guest rooms, but yet the lounge had numerous flat screen TV’s. During out stay it was hot outside but felt even hotter inside as the AC's in most rooms did not work, there was no AC in the elevators, there wasn’t even AC in the hotel shuttle bus. To make matters worse when we got there we were really looking forwarding to a swim in the pool as we had been sightseeing outside during the day and upon arrival when we asked about the swimming pool we were told that the pool was closed and according to the staff it has been closed for several months. If it wasn’t for the fact that we pre-paid for our rooms we would have left in a heartbeat as there were numerous other accommodations in the area that were much cheaper and with everything broken at this facility they had the same amenities.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LostinChicago Great break for weary travelers
My husband and I had been stranded at O'Hare for more than a day. We were told at the airport that there were no hotels available within forty miles of the airport. I called the 1-800 number for Holiday Inn, and the staff was very helpful - the customer service rep was able to find us a room within ten miles at Willowbrook.
The night desk clerk at Willowbrook went far out of her way to help us. She helped us get settled, get internet, find a cab, gave us information about car rentals, and gave us toothbrushes. Though we only stayed a few hours, it was a very needed break in the hassle of O'Hare and cancelled flights. After a day of dealing with a whole lot of unpleasantness, it was very reassuring to meet a friendly face who wanted to help. And it was reassuring to be in a quiet, safe place in an unfamiliar city.
Thank you so much. We really appreciate it, and will stay at the Holiday Inn Willowbrook the next time we are in town.
