Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room and good customer service. Overall I'd say this property is a good place to stay as the Staff was helpful and courteous. The property itself could have been better maintained as some areas looked degraded. I would stay again but maybe during a different season. September 30, 2015

I just got the feeling that there was no pride from the staff as they did not seem to care a lot about their costumers. Breakfast was outright awful with service far below par. I felt like a number instead of a Platinum guest!!!! September 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by nonfunctioning elevators This was the worst hotel stay we have had in over 10 years. They booked us on the top floor when they knew they were having elevator problems. No one mentioned the problems with the elevators until after we were in one and it had issues. We got off and took the stairs as quickly as possible. Also, we only had wifi for the first 2 hours of our stay due to a storm. No member of management even offered an apology for any of the inconvenience. We will never stay at this hotel again. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Money spent on Renovations but still dated. There were two areas of disappointment. First, where is the work station that virtually all the newer Holiday Inns have? I've been to two within the last six weeks which had a very nice set up on the wall above the work surface. Here I had to crawl on the floor to plug in laptop. If you were not going to replace the existing table, they make lamps with plugs in the base. Second area of concern was the bathroom. I never need an accessible room but if I had known the set up here I would have requested one. The commode was extremely low and near neither to the sink nor door to assist. This was problematic for me and I imagine others who have even slight mobility issues. If there had not just been a costly remodel I would have chalked it up to an older hotel but given that was not the case, I don't think HI spent their money as wisely as they could. PS even tho I'd made reservation through the IHG website, there was no record of it when I got there. September 23, 2015

My platinum status was acknowledged and I received an upgrade to a suite. The front desk staff were friendly. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Location was a short cab ride or walk to many bars and restaurants. September 21, 2015
