Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Based on an experience at a Holiday Inn Express in Louisiana where we booked on line, called the day we were traveling to let them know we were going to arrive late and even providing them a credit card number to charge the room in advance to hold our room to sleep 5, only to have that room given away. We decided to call and make this reservation. As we were going to be driving for 8-9 hours prior to arrival we were looking for one of the Jacuzzi Suites, again to be able to sleep 5 people. I asked on the phone how can they guarantee that my room will not be given away (this was the 800 number, not the actual hotel) and I was told that they don't give away booked rooms. I pointed out that they do give away booked rooms, When we arrived to the hotel, they indeed did not give away our room, however, their housekeeping staff somehow turned on the motor to the Jacuzzi, without water in the tub, and burned up the motor. Fortunately Chris at the front desk did a great job apologizing, and taking care of the problem, he put us in the largest room they had available (which ironically was the same type of room we requested a year ago when we booked at the other Holiday Inn Express) Despite not getting the room that we requested, and not having access to a Jacuzzi in the room. Chris did offer to allow us to use the pool and Jacuzzi in the pool area after hours if we desired. The rest of the staff was very pleasant as well. Other than the room not being what we requested, we did enjoy our stay. July 8, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Staff I love this place. I have stayed here twice and will stay again. The staff is so friendly and willing to help. For example: They upgraded the in-room coffee makers to the ones that use K-cups. I tried to brew a cup and the machine didn't work. I called the front desk as soon as I realized my coffee maker wasn't working. Within thirty minutes they had come up, determined the machine was hopelessly clogged and replaced it with a new one. I guess there are people who don't know what K-cups are and they pour the grounds into the opening where the water goes. This clogs the machine. This kind of service and attention to detail is shown all the time. I look forward to my next stay at this wonderful hotel. July 7, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Poor front desk service and staff attitude This was my fourth stay at this hotel and all the time I checked in I did not receive a pleasing attitude from the front desk staff. The front desk lady this time was very rude and she did not even recognize my priority club membership and my platinum status. No smile was on her face it seemed like I bothered her by checking in. She did not even tell me where the elevators/stairs are, what is the password, when and where is breakfast. She just handed me keys and returned back to her desk. Max & Ermas restaurent inside is good, food is great but service is little slow. Specially the breakfast serve time is 20 min after you place your order. I'll definitely not stay over there in future. Although the rooms and hotel atmosphere is nice. May 23, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms were very nice We had a very nice room. Wish there had been a microwave oven in the room but lived without. The Roberts Center is really nice in that you do not have to leave the complex to go to your room, eat and see the music venue. All staff were very friendly. Looking forward to coming back in November to see the bluegrass bands. March 22, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel, service not so much Amenities are great especially considering the area, the service personnel of the hotel however are less than adequate. On a recent business stay I was kept up at night (until 11 pm) by children running rampant in the hallways and rooms on either side of me only to be told by the front desk that there was a "gymnastic meet in town". Ummmm, don't care?! I paid as much for my room as they did and wanted peace and quiet as I have to rise early and get in late. February 12, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Where's the conformity between Holiday Inn Express locations? Some Holiday Inn Expresses are very nice, this one isn't. Where was the continental breakfast like they offer at their other sites? And the selection of tv channels, I think there were 20 at the most, none in HD. I guess you have to ask to see a room before you check in at a Holiday Inn Express. You go in expecting a continental breakfast in the morning, a decent selection of tv channels, and maybe a hot tub in the bathroom, but it varies dramatically from place to place. I highly doubt I'll be staying at Holiday Inn Expresses anymore. December 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and comfortable! We stayed here for 5 days 4 nights with 3 children, and the hotel is very nice, very clean, and all of the public spaces are excellent as well. The pool was clean and warm (in late Nov!) and a fun place to be with snow flurries outside! All that said, by far, the staff at this hotel is excellent. Friendly, helpful and just downright pleasant. We will stay here again, as we have family in town, and it is easily the nicest hotel in town. November 30, 2012

Wi Fi available in the rooms. Breakfast was good with quick service. The bar had a nice freindly atmosphere and the ribs I had at the bar were great. Would reccomend this hotel November 26, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rugs Cleanliness Sir or Madam Always have a good time when I come to the Robert Centre for the military show. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the rugs in my room 325. One other suggestion, relocate the door mirror in the bathroom. No one likes to sit and do their daily duty looking at themselves in the mirror. That's not very cool. Other than that I had a great time. I'll be back in the spring. Hope to see some changes made. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Get-a-Way Mu Hubby and I needed a weekend get-a-way and stayed at this Holiday Inn, the Hotel was so nice, the service was awesome and the front desk staff very helpful. The room was lovely and beds were so comfy. We purcashed the Reniasance Festival package and we recevied tickets for festival and free food tickets too. GREAT time ! October 18, 2012
