Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect We used this hotel to break our journey to the West Country, it was perfect, friendly staff, large very quiet room, comfortable bed and we both slept well. The only problem was the air conditioning that failed overnight causing us to wake early, this was reported to reception and enabled us to continue our journey ahead of the crowds. Thank you for another great Holiday Inn stay. July 22, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn in Stonehenge The air conditioning in our room quit working on night one; there was no one available to fix it so we were given a fan which did not really solve the problem. We were told it was fixed the next day but it quit working the second night and the only solution was a fan. On the third day we were switched to a new room, but that was after two miserable nights!! Not a happy camper. Either the night staff needs to be able to fix things or we should have been switched to a new room the second day. July 13, 2014

Not only was the menu extensive, everything we tried was delightful! We will absolutely stay here during our next visit to the area. July 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and lovely big towels Overall stay was very good, staff friendly, rooms clean and comfortable, lovely deep bath and great towels. Heated towel rail didn't work and was loose on the wall, pillows flat and not very comfortable, but neither spoiled the overall stay. Downside was bar closed at 12 without warning, regardless of the fact that there were many guests still socialising in the lounge - on querying this, a fellow guest was informed that bar closed at the managers discretion and did not have to stay open even when residents wished to continue drinking... bit of a shock, especially to american group of visitors. July 3, 2014
