Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent short stay The Holiday Inn offered us a good night's stay while attending a wedding in the area. The service, room and breakfast were excellent. It is a great hotel for an overnight or en route stay but the location would not recommend it for a lengthy stay. July 30, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bathroom light broken and not fixed after two days I stayed for two nights and on the first morning I mentioned to the reception desk that the light in the bathroom shower was not working and the area was very dark to take a shower in. I had to mention the broken light again when I checked out on the second day as it had still not been fixed. I was offered a free coffee, as a gesture of compensation, which I declined. July 27, 2015

The restaurant is modern and large windows give a pleasant view across the neighbouring countryside. The restaurant menu has it's own feel to it with a welcome variety. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The staff make the difference I stay in Holiday Inns fairly frequently and have come to expect certain standards in line with the corporate requirement. So finding that the room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast choice plentiful is what I would have expected - and indeed I found all of those things here. The positive difference though was the staff - Amy on reception was extremely helpful, I enjoyed an amusing bit of banter with the two young guys behind the bar and restaurant staff at dinner and breakfast were attentive without being intrusive. I got the impression that all these people enjoyed working at the hotel - and that is something that cannot be said for every Holiday Inn I have been to. Well done team - I will certainly look to stay here again. July 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A very happy Hotel! This Hotel is excellent the staff are all very happy, friendly and helpful morale is very high. The quality of the fit out of the bedrooms and bathrooms is excellent although bedrooms are a little on the tight side. Best bath towels I have had in any hotel - worldwide- this year . Breakfast is outstanding by any hotel standard, toasters actually toast the bread first time and sausages are proper tasty English bangers!! July 21, 2015
