When I went to the front desk at checkout to report the things that were broken, no attempts were made by staff to attempt to make things right. In addition, my car didn't start at checkout and no staff members were willing to help us attempt to jump start it -- we ended up having to ask another guest if they were willing. October 21, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel Even though we live in town we chose to stay two nights at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites, Windsor (Ambassador Bridge) to attend and be with family for our niece's wedding weekend. From the moment we walked in until our check-out the service was EXCELLENT. We WILL definitely recommend this hotel to our out of town family and friends. Thank you for the wonderful service. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Stay Oct 7-9/14 All in the comments in the survey. But to repeat my two colleagues and I received the worst service ever in a restaurant. For some unknown reason we just could not served for breakfast the morning of Oct 8 and we had a business meeting off-site to attend. Even asking a server, delivering breakfasts to another table that was occupied after we came in, to find our server did not work. We explained our predicament to another server delivering breakfasts. This server was ever so apologetic, took our order and advised that she would give to our server right away and we would be served asap. This was at the 30 minute wait time. After another 15 minute wait still without our server who never came to our table to apologize or serve us our breakfasts, we left in disgust after over 45 minutes waiting. Other than the restaurant experience the hotel stay was top notch. October 18, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not for business travellers I stayed at this hotel a few times and my last was not a good experience for a business traveller. I stayed her most recently the last week of September/Early October. During the day I am travelling and doing work. When I get back to the hotel, I need to access emails and our company system. The internet was so poor during this week that it was near impossible to do anything online. It was so bad in my first room that the internet kept disconnecting and reconnecting every 2-5 minutes. When it was connected, it was unbearably slow. I went to the front desk and they moved me to another room. The internet stayed connected for the most part, but speeds were again very slow. Mention this to the front desk staff who were to tell a manager and nothing was ever done. Very disappointed in this as connection to the internet is vital for my job and I was unable to use the hotel's internet. Sure it is free, but it is hardly worth it. If you are a business traveller and require internet connection, I would look elsewhere. October 5, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed I was recently staying at this hotel while in town for a wedding. I was traveling with my dogs, so I chose this hotel as it is pet-friendly. I have been traveling with my dogs for 10 years now. Usually, a hotel would give you a quieter room at the end of a hallway or similar location so that there are less noises to disrupt the dogs or cause barking, etc. I upgraded to the king suite so that we would have ample room. However, when we arrived, our room was directly in front of the elevator, a corner unit with two separate entries on two walls, and in the midst of a hockey tournament. The noise level was unbelievable. Kids were loitering outside the elevator sitting on the floor, everyone who waited the 10-20 mins for the slow elevator was right outside our door and kept us awake non-stop. The noise from everyone passing by either of two hallways was unbearable. We asked for a room switch but were told there were no other rooms available, and no compensation would be given for our awful stay. There were a few hours in the middle of the night when we had some peace and quiet and were able to sleep. However, the hotel's fire alarm then went off for an hour straight, with updates over the loud speaker every 5 minutes saying that the fire department was there and they would update us when they figure out what was going on. This wouldn't surprise me if we had elected to stay at a cheap dive hotel. But when paying for the highest level suite room the hotel has, in addition to extra pet fees, and when we had already requested a quiet room... I would expect more. As a pregnant mom, sleep is a necessity. I would definitely not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a restful visit. Very disappointed with the customer service, the overall experience, noise levels, fire alarm in the middle of the night, and 20 minute wait for the elevator. October 1, 2014

The rooms are big and very clean. The pool is amazing and the fitness room is perfect for a quick workout. My favorite part of this hotel is the restaurant. The food is amazing and the bar is pretty cozy for a few drinks. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. September 29, 2014

The hotel location is close to many shops and only 10 mins from downtown and Casino. The price is pretty high for 3 star hotel in small city but not much choice in Windsor. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall a good hotel The front desk is understaffed. Everyone seems to be on the phone or completing notes and we had to wait for a bit before someone checked us in. They were always friendly. The IHG rewards program is one of the worst. I would stay at these hotels more often if they had a better loyalty program. My Company has switched away from IHG for that reason. September 12, 2014
