Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by step24 Great Location but Beware of the Potential Noise
This hotel is in a great location and is walking distance to many pubs and restaurants.
The building is right beside the Windsor-Detroit tunnel entrance. My room was on the side facing the tunnel entrance. Unfortunately due to snowfall the pavement in that area was plowed two nights in a row between the hours of 3AM and 4:30AM. Between the blades scraping on pavement and the back up beepers on the plows, sleep was not possible.
It was not something I would have thought of and neither did it occur to the front desk staff. (They put me there to keep me away from the street noise on the other side of the building.) They were more than happy to move me directly accross the hall (to the street side) for my third night where I did get a good night's sleep.
In months where snow is possible I would recommend staying on the street side of the building and, in non snow months, the tunnel side of the building.

This hotel was just like any other Holiday Inn. It is in a good location which is a pro. I was told parking would be around $6, and the next night when I checked in I had to sign a form allowing Holiday Inn to charge me $15. I was also told the grand total would be around $300, but it ended up being far less which was nice. Bottom line, the staff need to get their information straight!

Excellent value and location. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great location in the heart of Windsor. Can walk to Casino and new Adventure Bay. Have excellent packages to attend Adventure Bay. On site restaurant with good food at reasonable prices and nice staff. Pool is large but slightly tired; not used regularly so had private swims. Only drawback was the placement of a large garbage bin near entrance of parking garage--hopefully that is temporary.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sue VanD New Year's Eve stay...
We stayed overnight on New Year's Eve, and we were REALLY impressed with the professionalism and courtesy all of the staff showed, even on a night when young adults who'd had too much to drink filled the lobby and the hotel. We were really impressed with this hotel. And our room was beautiful!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bradley99909 Nice to be Downtown but.............
I had a few issues during my stay. The hot water didn't get hot enough, bathroom door didn't shut all the way or lock, and heater had no off position. There was a foul odor in the hallway when I arrived that was taken care of by our second night.
The restaurant was very good but breakfast was not included.
Overall this is an expensive hotel that's not worth the high price.
