Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to Holiday Inn standards If you are a loyal Holiday Inn customer, you'll be disappointed with this one. Doesn't feel like a Holiday Inn. The hotel rooms are fine and the restaurant food is okay but the lack of hospitality or appreciation of your patronage that you'll consistently notice from the front desk will have you looking to stay somewhere else. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Inside Ok, but Outside Needs Refresh No problem with inside, but outside is not welcoming, especially the garage. Suggest start with replacement of the big floor mat just outside the back door, then pickup trash in garage and at front & back entrances (yes, even the tiny cigarette butts). Then ensure all the light fixtures and bulbs are working in garage (dark in areas), and paint a few areas. Yes, I know it's a garage, but it's usually the first and last thing a customer sees. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel Easy access off the highway, plenty of covered parking. Neat and clean lobby with helpful professional staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Good internet service. The pool area was well kept and there is a hot tub and a sauna too. July 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy I have stayed at this Holiday Inn numerous times but this is the last time. It is the most noisy hotel I have ever stayed at. It is not the people talking down the hallways nor the kids playing hockey in the hall or the next door's baby crying at midnight or the neighbour's TV on loudly. That's expected. No, it's the shower water running, the toilets flushing, the heater/air con banging on & off all night & the fridge turning on & off all night. This is with wearing my custom made earplugs. I finally dragged the fridge out of the wall unit & unplugged it every night. Frankly I don't think anything can be done about the noise. This hotel was shoddily constructed back in the late 60's. Even with the recent renovations nothing can be done to soundproof the rooms. However, if Holiday Inn wants people to reuse their towels, then for goodness sakes supply towel racks. How hard is that? Freshly renovated rooms & no place to hang used towels. July 6, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Sleep due to noise The worst sleep I have ever had at a hoilday Inn. Drunk people everywhere. It started when I checked in, there was a drunk male hanging around the front desk, the clerk just told the guy to go sit down. They should have removed this person from the hotel. Then later that night at about 2am I hear an intoxicated person yelling in the hallway looking for someone, just got back to sleep and I hear a loud banging noise, then "Winnipeg Polioce OPEN THE DOOR!!!" they were kicking the door down the hall. Worst sleep ever! I will never stay at this hotel again! July 3, 2015
