Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by winnipeg south not up to Holiday Inn standards. I am not super impressed with staff at the holiday inn South in Winnipeg. I stey there 5-8 nights a month. My express check in is never ready. usually missing meal tickets included in stay. Staff never real friendly never call me by name and do not remember me even with my frequent stays. This includes both the front desk staff and the dinning room staff. I here 90% because of other holiday inns and the rewards and it is convienent not the hotle is self. I have never gotten a free upgrade and ove rhalf the time have to remind them of priority number. April 22, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Going Downhill??? We have stayed at this hotel exclusively for the past few years due to it's friendly staff, cleanliness, and quiet atmosphere. The past couple of times we have stayed at this location, and worse so the past stay, there were dozens of loud, rude teens running around from a hockey team. Constantly riding the elevators and pushing all the buttons so that the delay was bad. On top of that small children left running the halls until quite late - NONE of which had adult chaperones. The pool area in the morning was disgusting - left dirty from the ruckus the night before as there was a cleaning person that called in sick apparently. This is not the good experience we have come to enjoy at this location. I sincerely hope management does something to curtail this kind of behavior in the hotel. It was quite obvious and I am sure could have been seen on the cameras, yet no staff bothered to put a stop to it. Teams need not apply if they are going to be disrespectful of the space and other customers. I hope this does not happen again or we will be finding another hotel. A shame as we have always felt so comfortable and well looked after in this hotel in the past. April 18, 2013

The staff has consistently given us friendly service and it remains a nice place to stay as an overnight home for various reasons or for a weekend away. January 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm, welcoming and great service Front desk people always greet me with a smile even when it is late at night. Most of the staff recognize me and will stop and chat and ask about my day. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. On my last trip, I was pleasently surprized by returning to my room to find a light on. It was nice to return to my room and have it not be pitch dark, as when I am in Winnipeg I usually work 10 -12 hour days. December 26, 2012
