I have had more pleasurable stays at other properties. This one started out that way. My experience changed after a few mishaps and a major one when I nor the staff was able to enter my room. After a long two and half hours I was finally in and move to another room though too late for my function that night. The staff did their best to accommodate in light of everything. Needless to say I doubt I will visit that particular location again but I am open to continue using Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express.

We have stayed at this location on a number of occasions. Overall, we have found the service and stay to be very good. During a recent weekend where the hotel was unusually busy we noted a real strain on the hotel staff that impacted our stay. The challanges included a lack of coffee and tea at both the Priority Level as well as in the vicinity of the front desk. We had requested a second set of bath towels to be delivered to our room and the front desk handed us towels from the gym. Lastly, we were double billed for our stay and when I called the front desk from home to report the issue, I was quickly dismissed and hung up on. I had to follow-up with the hotel manager directly to get resolution but never got an apology for their clerical error. I hope this was a one-off occasion.

I have stayed here many times and each time they have been very kind and accomadating. When in Winston Salem this is my hotel of choice!

I stayed at this location for a week, during my stay the room was ok and 99.9 percent of the staff was friendly, however the lady that worked in the breakfast area was very unfriendly. I arrived at the breakfast area at 6 am and there wasn't any one around. I walked over and took a milk and banana. As I left the area, I placed my coupon on the counter. As I got close to the door to leave, the lady walking from the elevator area made the comment that Milk wasn't free. I explained that I left my coupon on the counter for her and left the hotel. The next 4 days I did the exact same thing and got the same response every day. I would assume that since I was wearing my work uniform every day and looked exactly the same that she would realize I was a guest. But apparently not. Maybe she expected a tip for a 35 cent banana and a 50 cent milk. The following week I stayed at a different hotel that did not have coupons for breakfast. And was very satisfied with my stay. I travel every week for work and stay at lots at Holliday Inns. I'm generally very happy with the quality of this establishment and there are many great employees. I will not return to this location in Winston Salem.

The shower didn't heat up and the breakfast was NOT worth the $10 they charged for it. Discovered used dental floss near the chair.
Overall terrible experience with no chance of ever going back.

My stay at this hotel started with a 3 night reservation that turned into a 6 night stay while my daughter was in the hospital for surgery. The staff were wonderful and worked with my as I had to extend my stay each day based on the doctors keeping her longer than we first thought. The beds are extremely comfortable. I have health problems and most hotel beds make me wake up in pain but not at this hotel. All in all, it was a wonderful, comfortable and safe home away from home!!!
