Staff was very welcoming upon my late arrival and made me feel at home.
Room was very comfortable and provided the relaxing environment needed when traveling.

The hotel itself was extremely nice. Room very comfortable (king suite), and staff very friendly and helpful.
I do have a couple of complaints, though. The restaurant in the hotel is open for breakfast and dinner only. Not for lunch. I guess that if you consider most guests go out during the day, and don't stay in the hotel the whole time, it may not be cost effective to be open for lunch. However, I was there for a conference in the hotel, the second one I've attended. The last one I went to, they offered a "box lunch" from the restaurant during the conference, which was convenient for a lot of us attending. The hotel may not have any say over how the restaurant operates, but just an observation.
The hotel offers a complimentary drink at the bar on day of arrival which was nice. I had a glass of Merlot wine. Then ordered dinner at the bar, along with another glass of Merlot, for which I was charged a whopping $8! Pretty steep for a glass of wine!
But I must say that my room was very comfortable, hotel very clean, and staff wonderful. Definately will stay there again!

I stayed at the Hoilday Inn Winston-Salem several times. Hotel is clean and staff is amazing and very friendly

Great hotel and very clean. Staff are sincere and go above and beyond to satisfy guests. Food is awsome and delicious.
Would definitley recommend this hotel.

I had the pleasure this past weekend of staying at this hotel. I booked my room on the IHG website and it booked me for the DAY BEFORE I was booking. The wonderful staff at the desk straightened it out and found me a king room. And then I ate at the restaurant! The steak I had was the best steak I have had all year. I order rare steaks and almost never get a rare steak. This chef KNOWS how to cook a steak. It was tender and PERFECT!!!! I know where I will be staying when in Winston-Salem from now on. Right here!
