I stayed here two nights with my wife and baby. The room was a bit cramped especially with the cot in there which was just placed by the bathroom door. Heating up baby food was a very awkward experience, with the restaurant staff not readily complying with my request and making me sign forms to remove liability. If that is such a big issue then I would recommend providing access to a microwave so I can heat it myself. Motorway services provide such a service so I can not see why a hotel chain like the Holiday Inn can not as well.
Other than that, the room was not properly cleaned on the second day.
Some positive points are that the beds are good and the location in the centre of Woking is really good with the shops and the museum close by..

A somewhat bi-polar hotel. On one hand very nice staff and good food - on the other hand the furniture and equipment is worn. In room AC/Heaters are troublesome. Wifi is awful. Could use some TLC.

I booked the room on the web and pre paid. The cost was to be expected in the South East of England. However, the heating did not work and I arrived very late and the night staff kindly provided another heater but I was offered no refund in total or part which was shabby.
I will not be staying here at the Holiday Inn Woking again and not at any other Holiday Inn if I can avoid it.
This factory type of impersonal accommodation should be avoided.
There is also a hefty car park charge as well which I don't like.
In summary: a shabby hotel and poorly maintained.

Very nice staff.
Lovely room, beautifully laid out.
Shower was fine, unlike many Holiday Inns, where the thermostats are all u/s!!

every time i stay in woking i stay in here. excellent value for money. if there are a few of you travelling you can have more than 2 adults in one room, you just get charged an extra £20 per extra person in the room which saves you so much money instead of buying an extra room for an extra person! room ready when we checked in early, staff are great really friendly. i can only comment on the reception staff really as i did not use the bar... housekeeping excellent room was spotless our entire stay, well stocked room. i have worked in housekeeping in a hotel before so this department is often overlooked but one of the most essential so thank you for the great job!! parking available at an extra fee but that's like everywhere in woking. i visit there often to see family and we always stay here, can't wait to return. perfect location right in the town centre also with plenty of shops and places to eat and drink just a minutes walk away.

I have been a Platinum member of IHG for a while. They did not recognise me. No upgrade, nothing. As a member of IHG I only received 500 point woucher. That is all. I know this hotel mainly for business reason only, so I understand I should not pick up this one for leasure reson, because I can not expect more for my Platimum membership

I found the hotel very comfortable and relaxing. All the staff I encountered were polite, friendly and appeared very knowledgeable. The only hiccup was the operation of the lights, which are a very good idea, but unless you know about the door card was used to turn on the power, it meant a trip down to reception. I would recommend this hotel.
