Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay I visit Woking regularly and always stay at the Holiday Inn, the location is perfectly placed in the town centre. Parking is always available and i find the staff always friendly and accomodating. The bar and restaurant are well presented in a modern and open living space, making it easy to relax during the evening. November 17, 2014

Particular mention for the young lady at reception, Hannah, who even as a trainee was the model of efficency and professionalism. I have already booked a return visit. November 13, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mediocre Business Hotel Excellent location; probably the main/only reason you'd stay here. The decor is a bit tired and has probably not been replaced since the smoking ban came in. Some of the rooms have a musty, old tobacco smoke smell. If get a room overlooking the car park you can open the windows but if you get one overlooking the A360 then forget it unless you sleep very soundly. The food is ok and the room service is efficient. The gym is closed at the moment and indefinitely and so you have to go elsewhere for exercise. One plus is that the sound proofing between the rooms is good and the doors don't close too noisily which is a plus for a relatively undisturbed sleep. Other than that, this is a very average hotel. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hoiday Inn Woking Overall the hotel was clean, well presented and the staff were very polite. We did however have one issue with the fire alarm and lack of staff on hand when it went off in the early hours. This was explained the following morning that someone had set the alarm off by smoking in their room and then attempting to remove the smoke detector which set off the alarm to the whole building. Despite this I would, and will be, staying in this hotel again. November 6, 2014
