When I arrived my booking had not been registered. The staff were very helpful in understanding what had happened. It was their mistake so i was upgraded (although I should have been anyway as I am a Royal Ambassador Platinim ICH card holder) and they put me in a very nice quiet room.
Solid hotel, no frills, good for business, although a bit pricey for Woking.

All I expect is a comfortable room and a decent breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel was full so I got a smoking room. The 'freshening' of the room did not help much. Other than that though no compalints about the room. However, at the price of the room night, breakfast should surely be included but wasn't. Unfortunately I paid the extra and was sorely disappointed. Burnt, cold and just plain foul. Then they tried to double charge me for the room - thanks for that, won't be seeing you again!

Its been a while since I was at the Holiday Inn Woking, its had a good makeover and the superior/executive room I stayed in was great. Also I had a quiet room 5th floor and did request for the following week which they said they would try and do. The food was also very good, we ordered in the bar and there were healthy choices. A great hotel for business and pleasure.

A nice example of a Holiday Inn. Even though I knew where it was I hadn't been for a while and of course I missed it - the Sat Nav address could be much,much improved.
Room heating could have been improved as well. Notwithstanding many places do not have in-room heating this did (and it worked#. It is a pity though, that to keep the room at normal temperature the heating was provided by intrusive #noisy) air-conditioning. However this apart I was only there a couple of days and could tolerate this. All in all, not bad.

The Holiday Inn at Woking is a great choice for all those visiting Woking and nearby.
This is just a quick walk from the Woking station and within a stone's throw from the Woking Town Center.
The hotel is well designed and has spacious, well equipped rooms.
The breakfast is a large spread and definitely value for money.
The staff are very courteous, friendly and helpful.
Recommend this to all visiting Woking.

Hotel is well located, breakfast was good. Most disappointing factor was having to pay £15 for parking the car at the hotel . Why should you pay to park you car at the hotel you are stating at? As a platinum member, this was quite disappointing.

This was my first stay at a Holiday inn hotel and i must say that i enjoyed the benefit of warm friendly staff and a clean and comfortable room,with good food and drink, my only criticismn was that the gym was not big enough and it would have been a bonus to have had a swimming pool with sauna and jaccuzzi.
I would definitely stay here again and would look to stay at other Holiday Inn hotels where possible in the future.

I Travel to Woking for work on a regular basis and always stay at the holiday inn. It is clean and comfortable and very central to the local town highstreet/bars and reasturants. I always enjoy my stay there

My wife and I stayed at Holiday Inn, Woking for 1 night recently. My wife is a permanant wheel chair user. Access to the hotel and the reception area was excellent as was access to the disabled room. It cannot be easy trying to provide a facility that will suit all disabled persons, but the provision of a walk in shower was a positive. However, my wife wasn't able to get to the sink in the bathroom which is adjacent to the loo which was somewhat of an inconvenience. Perhaps hotel operators would benefit from talking to a range of different disabiliities before rolling out their disabled accessible rooms. However all in all it was fine for a 1 night stop, however a stay of a few days may have proved more difficult.

When we visit family and friends we always stay at the Holiday Inn in Woking as we find the hotel very comfortable and clean.The staff are always very courteous and friendly. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.

An easy, straightforward stay. Clean and comfortable. We were able to check in early - our designated room wasn't ready so another was found very quickly. Easy walk from Woking Station ( we were going to London by train). Would stay there again.

Probably the worst Holiday Inn Ive stayed in ( room 706).
Air Con not working,
Only 2 pillows for dual occupancy room,
plug didnt work in basin,
newspaper not delivered in morning
2 lifts are inadequate leading to long wait times
Breakfast was average ( tea served was stewed and unappetising)
Car Park was cramped and difficult to access.
Very tired decore - needs investment and refurb

Had the continental breakfast - fruit selection poor. The tea was appalling - a grey liquid that was rather unpleasant served by waitress. Why can't Holiday Inn provide individual tea pots so it is fresh and hot - after all it is incredibly cheap to provide so why make such a mess of it??
Car parking expensive - public car park right next door half the price.

This is a very open and friendly hotel. The reception is manned by a good team and the restaurant and bar staff are also of a very high standard. The price is somewhat unsettling seeing as there are other hotels around that charge less.
The food is of a very high standard and evening meals are cost effective, however the breakfast is very costly. The gym is very small but convenient if you want to use some weights or a bike.
The film selection is very good however the channels available for TV are less than some Holiday Inn expresses. The hotel is situated in a very suitable location, very close to the station and the high street. It is very clean and tidy and spacious. The rooms are of a high standard and if you are lucky enough to be a Platinum member the upgrade is worth it.

Just a suggestion: keep the gym open also in the late evening.

If you need to stay in the area and want to be close to the town centre, its a good choice depending on what the current rate is being charged. This can vary widely depending on demand and whether you have access to a corporate rate. The rooms although now slightly dated are comfortable and spacious. Staff throughout the hotel were professional polite and courteous.
