Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old hotel The HI Wolfsburg is old and has not undergone any kind of renovation since the 70's - at least that is how it looks like. Reception as well as brekky staff is good, polite and helpful; exception is the reception manager who does not care about any inquiry and is rather annoyed when a request comes in. The rooms are simply old and not even up to a 3-star-level. Cables are coming out of the wall (dangerous) and light bulks are missing (?!?). Housekeeping is going along with the rest of the hotel. When coming into to the room I regularly have used glasses in my room. I have lived in approximately 35 different rooms now and kind of believe that I can evaluate them. The hotel situation in Wolfsburg is bad and hotels are fully booked months ahead. So there is no need to change manners for the HI yet. However, there are two more hotels being built up and I hope that changes the situation and the HI undergoes some serious renovations that have been due in the late 90's already. Lastly, no priority club benefits are granted; but - and that makes it very strange - if you own a Card for the German Train (Bahn-Bonus Karte) you will get one free drink in the bar, a plate of fruits and a bottle of water on the room for free. All in all: not recommended. April 28, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Pricing was misleading Pricing was based on 1 person and if you weren't traveling alone, you had to pay an additional fee. The web site was also complicated in determining whether you had or had not correctly ordered breakfast or not. Upon checking in and finding out it was approximately 17 Euro a person, I am thankful I did not order the breakfast. The staff were pleasant however my friend and I were approached by a lady in the lobby begging for money our last night there. That was quite uncomfortable and not the norm for Holiday Inn. The price for Internet was completely unreasonable. Inaddition, no notice was taken at being a Prioroty Club Member. Thank you. April 1, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kurzbesuch in Wolfsburg Ganz spontan bin ich nach Wolfsburg gekommen , um eine Freundin zu besuchen . Da man im Hotel ein Parkhaus hat , kann das Auto da auch sehr gut abgestellt werden. Das Hotelzimmer war sehr gemütlich , es gab ein großes Bett und eine schöne Decke dazu. Leider brummte die Lampe im Badezimmer etwas laut ... wenn man alleine ist, dann geht das ja , zu zweit hätte mich das wohl etwas gestört ... Es war alles sauber und es war auch sehr ruhig im Zimmer . Am Freitagabend habe ich dann einleckeres Drei-Gänge-Menue genossen und schönen Wein getrunken. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und frisch gemacht... und sehr lecker ... es ist auch alles da , was man zum Start in den Tag braucht... .. October 26, 2012
