I was there a couple of times in the last week,
The breakfast was over the average in Wob zone.
Rooms are quiet and have average comfort
Seems to be a good TV service (but I didn't use it#
Hotel needs maintenance, installations look old
They forgot to inform me that my late baggage had arrived
Carpets are dusty
As IHG gold member, I didn't receive any compliment #not even the points were registered in my accounts up to now)

Overall good, but the thing that is bad is the broadband. I don't even know if it can be called that. I depend on a good broadband connection in order to get my job done in the evening, but that is hopeless here. That's why I can't recommend this hotel.

We only stayed 1 night, but wished it could have been longer. The room (on the 9th floor) was spacious and equipped with mini bar, tea and coffee (rare in a European hotel) 2 comfortable beds, sitting area and bath. The TV had many stations including UK satellite and the TV swivelled so could be watched anywhere in the room. The window opened and there was a nice view of the main shopping area and surrounds, it was nice to watch a storm sweep across the horizon.
The only very small negatives where that the tea/coffee set was only equipped with 1 sachet of coffee, 1 decaf, and 1 bag of tea (3 varieties)....so we had to save up the coffee and share it in the morning, and limit the tea. I would expect a 4 star hotel to have a few of each for their guests to enjoy on their stay.
Otherwise, the plumbing was a bit noisy - you could hear other rooms shower/wc through the pipes...but that wasn't such a bother.
A great hotel. Didn't get to have a swim in the pool, but it looked very inviting. The hotel is a bit of a walk up the main shopping mall, and you cannot approach it from the street it is in as the road seems to be blocked off, so we approached it from the back, through the mall.

The Refrigerator was not working at all and I contacted the reception and they told me they can do nothing for this!!!!!!!!!!
I just wonder how they can't take such simple action by repairing or replacing it!!!!!!!!
The best thing which I like in this Hotel is the location which very near from the shopping area.
Inrernet free service was good but I recommend to make 1 week access for the people who staying for 1 week because I had to get a new access each 2days!! by the way my room # was 416. I hope they repaired Refrigerator.

but there are two things you need to be aware off: There is no fitness center, and no minibar or fridge.
Apart from that, the rooms are relatively new and the hotel is fairly central.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe einer Einkaufsmeile und eines Kunstmuseums und man kann gut zu Fuß zur VW-Stadt oder in das Outlet-Center gehen.
Die Zimmer waren sauber und mit breiten Betten ausgestattet, so dass wir dort als Familie zu viert ein Zimmer teilen konnten. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut.
Leider war der Poolbereich nicht sehr überzeugend, da vom Vortag noch der Müll eines Kindergeburtstages rumlag, keine Handtücher vor Ort waren und er aus meiner Sicht nicht so hygienisch wirkte. Meine Kinder hatten trotzdem ihren Spaß dort.
Man sieht dem Hotel an, das es schon bessere Tage hinter sich hat.
Überzeugender war dafür das im Hotel befindliche Restaurant/PUB eines Fremdanbieters(?) mit interessanter und köstlicher Speisenauswahl.

A good hotel for a business trip to Wolfsburg.
Friendly staff, clean rooms and fine condition of the rooms.
I had good experience with the people and cannot understand some of the reviews I saw before. I was positively surprised (advantage of reading negative comments before :-) )
As a frequent IHG customer, I was recognized as priority club member. I did not get an upgrade, but I know that is a service you cannot expect and just hope for. Fine for me.
As a Deutsche Bahn card holder, I got a free drink.
Overall a pleasant stay for a business trip.
