Booked to stay on racenight in Decemeber for hubbys birthday and to reminisce as not been for years. Room was fab, check in easy and reception staff v friendly. Just gutted that racing got abandoned early (7.15) due to weather which left us doing not much for almost three hours waiting for parties to start in Premier Rooms.
But they managed to find a singer to start things off early which I thought was good. And staff everywhere were really friendly.
Peaceful sleep (when we got there at 2a.m.). Great breakfast too. Lots of choice and good hours. Open til half eleven!!
Overall great stay.

My son and I used the Holiday Inn Wolverhampton as a crash pad whilst at an exhibition in Telford.
Rooms were the usual Holiday Inn standard- clean and comfortable. There was noise however from the room next door, which disturbed my sleep, but overall perfectly OK.
The big suprise was the quality of the food. I use Holiday Inn regularly and the food is generally OK, but the chef at Wolverhampton was very good. Prices OK too! We were going to eat out but having looked at the menu and prices we stayed in and had a very good, freshly cooked meal. My son had a burger and was asked how he wanted it cooking and serving and I had Welsh lamb, which again was cooked perfectly pink (after being asked by the chef how I liked it).
A good crash pad, set inside the race course, so a nice environment.

When I arrived at the holiday inn wolverhampton I was surprised how clean and friendly the whole complex was. It was peaceful and accommodated my young family amazingly. I was initially anxious about the hotels' quality in Wolverhampton with cheap prices, the picture of the other hotels looked tired, cheap and not homely at all, unclean and in my view disgusting. That is why I was so relieved that the Holiday Inn was welcoming, updated and the bar restaurant had wonderful choice of food. If I was to visit wolvethampton again I would most definitely stay at this hotel and would not bother looking elsewhere. I'm used to the quality of hotels in London and abroad so I'm happy that holiday inn have lived up to my expectations and their name. Well done and keep up the good work!!

From smelly bathroom to shabby carpets and holes in the towels this property was truly a disgrace to the brand.

Fantastic to be able to look out of a hotel window and see horses and jockeys parading before the races. Even for a non racing fan this hotel is superb and there is a small gym which although a little basic it was very useful.
The room itself was as expected, nothing special but fine for a short stay and Sky Sports channels are an added bonus.
The only gripe being that WIFI is chargeable which is rare with hotels these days.
Breakfast is buffet style and was amazing with as much available as your stomach can take, even my lad went up twice and he doesn't do breakfast!
Staff were very friendly and we will definitely be staying here again
Thank you

Not the greatest when we trying to sort out the party booking but apart from a minor hiccup on check-in everything went really well. Good hospitality and a great evening's racing. Decent room overlooking the Parade Ring. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. If you don't mind the cost on a race night, then recommended.
