The reception staff did not have enough courtesy to inform the customer that the first check in can give you a maximum of 1000 points infact after staying 22 nights when asked; the guy replied in a laughing manner that why did you not read website. This is INSANE!!! you must tell your customer atleast this much...

Since 2009 i tell you the same problem every time i'm in the hotel. The water in the shower goes from very hot to very cold and from high pressure to low pressure. The warer gets so hot that it burns your skin. It is very unplesent to take a shower at your Hotel.
I was in Room 220 and its very bad.

My job took me to Yanbu in the crazy heat of june. However staying at Holiday Inn took some of the exhaustion in the day off. Staff is excellent and hotel is extremely quiet and comfortably cool. Above all reception guys at the front desk are great. Arif was an excellent person and took care of me very well that I still remember his name. I have a habit of not remembering the names very well but if after my return I remember the name of a hotel staff then it means he would have been exceptionally good. I would highly recommend travelers who are visiting Yanbu to make use of this hotel for long time to remember.

The holiday inn at YANBU is a secure hotel within a secure compound.
The hotel is clean and tidy with pleasant and helpful staff.
The rooms are nice sized, clean with comfortable beds. The Bathrooms are tiny and there appeared to be a shortage of hot water.
What really let's e hotel down is he food, the buffets are hugely overpriced and the quality of the food is very poor. Most of the Buffett seems to be recycled night after night and most of it is inedible.
My coffee at breakfast appeared to be half a pot of cold coffee from the day before to which hot water was added to make some sort ofblukewarm week brown liquid.
For ambassador members you get a voucher for one free drink from the cafe, this proved impossible to use as it was never staffed and coffee machine turned off.
