Having been to Seoul several times, and having also stayed at adjacent ICN hotels, decided to use a 2-night flight connection to explore Incheon itself and this HI seemed to be a well located place to stay. Staff was friendly and efficient throughout my stay. Being on the subway line I was able to get to old Incheon to explore China Town, the museums and the original port districts, then return via the older part of Songdo to see a few more sites. This newer part of Songdo where the hotel is located is almost like living on a worlds fair site, a bit eerie. Didn't use the hotel bar but did get a satisfying sandwich from the cafe on the main level. Good selection at the restaurant's breakfast buffet too.
Getting here is easy enough using the Korean Air bus service, $7 each way and less than a half hour's drive...across one of the longest bridges in the world! While waiting for my 5:47 early morning bus back to ICN, one of the staff waited with me for a chat.
There is an interpretive centre across from the HI that explains the history of Incheon and the development plans still ahead. Worth a visit. In a few years there will be more attractions within walking distance of the hotel, but for the moment the subway will get you to a more developed part of this district where there are many more shops and restaurants.

I enjoy the efficient design of the work area, the pillow selection, the mattress that is good for the sensitive back, and the sleek lines of the bathroom.
As of now the wifi needs to be improved as it fails sometimes, but I expect this to be remedied.
