I stayed here quite a few times for business travel and never had any issues unitl now. When I got back home, I went to get my camera from my computer pack for my daughters graduation and it was gone. I know it was in there before I left and my bag is always carried with me through the airport and not out of my sight. Very disappointed, but the desk staff was awesome.

We've stayed in this hotel for a business convention annually for a number of years, because it is very convenient to the York convention center. The front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms around the pool are noisy until the pool closes. The food was better this year. Only negative was housekeeping - when we left the hotel at 10.30 a.m. we took the "Do not disturb" off our door for the room to be cleaned. When we got back from work late that evening, a note had been pushed under the door claiming that housekeeping could not make up the room, and that we had to contact someone by noon for service. Well, when they put that letter under the door there was NO "Do not disturb" sign out there, so thought that was pretty lazy! Disappointing to come back to an unmade room given the expense of the 2 night stay...

My husband and I have a lot of Arthritis and aches and pains. So we choose our hotel by it's pools and Spas. This Holiday Inn in there overview said they had both, We booked our stay. Came in late and tired, but still wanted a warm soak. To our disappointment the pool was locked, and the spa was drained.This was 8 o'clock in the eve. Lots of apologies and decrease in our rate. That's nice, but didn't fix our aches and pains. And NO a bath is not the same. We visit family here once a year. We will not be staying here again.

We have stayed at your property many times as our grandson lives in York and your property is very close to his house. We have never experienced any problems and your staff is great to work with. "PINEAPPLE"

I am a frequent traveler and usually always stay at the Holiday Inn chain. I actually grew up in York PA. So I know this hotel is kind of old. But it was pretty depressing. The bartender had the personality of a box of nickels.
The worst part was the beds. The we so sloped in the middle that my wife and I had to put extra pillows under our backs to try to remain level!
Not too sure I would stay here again.

Our room was located on the ground floor in the middle of the hotel. The room was clean, though not sure what those red stains were on the carpet. The bathroom was clean but had no exhaust vent so the room steamed up and we had the ac on high to clear it out(April). The hot tub was closed(huge disappointment). The pool looked amazing but the ac was on high in the room blowing down on the pool...the water was frigid. I could spend only 5 minutes in till I was shivering so much I had to leave. My 17 old nephew stood in the water but never went all the way( He, too, said the water was freeezing). (We both live near the ocean in NE and swim alot so we are used to cold temps but not that cold! The people before us did the same(I had wondered why at the time.) The food was amazing!! Dinner and breakfast!. I think I would stay again for the food. When we left our room at the end of our stay....(it was about 9am) we made separate trips to the car. The final thing left in the room was a large luxurious dog bed 4 inches thick and made of a super soft material. (better than most blankets). I got back to the room to find nothing disturbed but the bed gone. After talking to the front desk, we figured the housekeeping crew had it. Interesting since everything else in the room was not touched( not the bed sheets, the wet towels, nothing.) The front desk said the room gets stripped before cleaning. Huh. Well the misunderstanding is at 9am the cleaning crew starts it rounds, and if your bringing things out to your car in trips be sure to put the sign on your door not to be bothered until your done. By the way the dogs did fine at the place, plenty of grass.
