Runned by excellent coworkers , excellent rooms , a superior breakfast and diner possibilities . Warm atmosphere at the bar to relax. Very good parking ,garage facilities . Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room The following provides all the details in brief descriptions. 1. Hotel is nice and clean. 2. Hotel room is good for the rate. 3. Bed is comfortable and lighting is good in room. 4. There was no internet on that date I was there. The hotel had problem and the front desk did not know what to do. 5. Internet downstairs is very slow also and is only 1 desk. 6. Good location for Christmas Shops or Christmas Market. 7. Good location for restaurants, I went to the Chinese one. I was a Platinum Member, but not treated as a Platinum customer like other Holiday Inn Hotels. January 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A lovely hotel with brilliant staff and great breakfasts! I have been using this hotel for business trips and leisure since 2006. It is by far my favourite Holiday Inn hotel and certainly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms are large, modern and well furnished, the bathrooms are luxurious, the range and quality of food on the breakfast buffet is fantastic and the hotel itself is located perfectly for exploring Zwickau. The very best thing about this hotel though is the staff. They are all attentive, friendly, polite and it always seems like they just can't do enough for you. This applies to all staff, whether front of house, bar staff, night staff, breakfast staff or house keeping. It's this touch that makes the hotel feel more "homely" rather than a cold, faceless corporate affair. My only criticism would be the quality and speed of the WiFi service. Whilst it is free for all hotel guests, it is very slow and often disconnects entirely. I struggle to maintain a simple Skype voice call, and a video call is totally out of the question. Sending emails with any attachments other than basic JPEGs is also beyond challenging! December 17, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel and location Stayed the first week of December. The Hotel is located right in the Center City, and had great access to Christmas market (literally 30 meters from front door!). parking was easy, rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was great. the ONLY problem we had with this Hotel, is that their internet service (which was free), was basically unuseable in the early evening. they had no pay Internet service to upgrade to. It was simply a band width issue, as the service speed was fine at 5:00 AM. If you are on business and need reasonable access speed, then beware. The Hotel needs to increase bandwidth, or have two level service where you pay for reasonable speed. Dont mean to leave on a bad note---this Hotel is a gem December 12, 2012
