The room was comfortable and clean, staff was very nice and helpful.
I really liked the character of the building....
Only thing in today's world that the rooms could use is a USB port for charging of the mobile devices....not everyone remembers to bring a charger with them...

bad hotel. everything is old, tired and dirty. The bed and pillows are not comfortable, carpet is gross, barely any hot water in the morning for a shower.

Mobility access rooms could use an update. Compared to other chains, these rooms just don't rate as well. Also it would be helpful to have a connecting room to the mobility access rooms so family members traveling together have access in the event the elderly or disabled member needs assistance.

Overall, the hotel was quite nice, a good choice for the wedding we attended in the area, accommodations were comfortable and quiet. The room was a long walk from the front desk, which was ordinarily fine but I had a lot of baggage, and food that needed to come in as it was prepared for the following day's activities. A cart or dolly by the desk would have been much appreciated. Also, the paint fumes in the freshly painted second floor landing were bad. They fortunately did not carry down and around to my rooms. The hallways were very warm.
Brunch in the Minuteman Grille was good, altho at 8:00 there surprisingly were several empty hot trays. The 12:00 check out was great.

We rented a suite. The first night was very warm and when we went to put on the AC, it did not work, We then went to call the desk and our phones did not work. It was after 11, both in PJ's so we just tried to sleep in a very warm room (unseasonably warm last weekend) My husband did ok, but I hardly slept a wink since I like the window open even in the winter. We were up at 6 for an 8 am family event and I went to make coffee, one pack of reg coffee for one cup. We are coffee hounds and this was a major upset. Again, no phone. It was too early for the dining room.Thank goodness there was a dunkin donut across the way at the Gulf station so I could fortify myself on the way to our event. On our way out the door I told them about no AC, no phone and no coffee and they did sent someone to fix AC and phone and also had coffee for the next morning. You would think they would have at least comped breakfast or something to make up for a sleepless night. We are repeat customers at this hotel and the suites are not inexpensive, so I was a bit disappointed. The next night with AC I did sleep well, and I will stay there again, but believe me I will be checking everything to see it is in working order when I arrive!!!
