Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room - great location This hotel was close to my work location - I was able to walk the few blocks to work each day. Staff friendly and helpful - greeting me each morning and evening. The restaurant has good food for a reasonable price. During the cold nights it was good to be able to go from my room and get a good meal without leaving the hotel. The business center was a great place to catch up on Emails and social networking. My room was close to a busy intersection making it noisier than most room - traffic noise did interrupt my sleep at times. However it placed me close to the restaurant - one flight of stairs and I was there. The CTA Blue Line has a station one block away making getting around Chicago easy. Great if you need to get to/from O'Hare airport. February 3, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service and Comfortable Rest! The service was exceptional from the friendly staff tending to every detail of my stay until the time I left. I through them a spin, by changing rooms my second night to share with another colleague I met, while on set in Chicago. We split the cost of the room and taxi rides to and from Cinespace Studios, which helped a lot, because as extra's we receive very little pay. Another guest had left a coupon book for the Art Museum, which was a kind gesture of the hotel clerks to pass along for us to enjoy in our down time. We appreciated that very much! The rooms were clean and well maintained. The mattress in both the King on my first night's stay, and the two double beds the rest of the visit were comfortable and we achieved a good night's rest. We had ample supplies and clean thick towels. I always check the shower head and that looked sanitary as well. If I had to complain it would be for the outdated register in the second room. My first nights stay the rooms heater/cooling unit had a temperature control and ran quietly. The second room was an older model with temperature control, just a dial for high to low and was a bit nosier, however was sufficient. The hotel is in a good location to walk to many things had it been warmer. I would consider staying here in the future. January 26, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and convenient My overall experience was good, from early check-in to check-out. Where the hotel falls short is the restaurant. I decided to stay in and have dinner because realistically it was extremely cold and it would be convenient to have dinner and go to my room, after. First of all, that evening the restaurant manager and one staff member where running the restaurant which happened to be full, with only a booth and table top available. I waited out by the counter entrance for a while before I was even acknowledged. Then, finally I was approached and asked to sit anywhere. in a rushed manner the manager Ryan, I believe was his name took my order. I waited for a while for my beverage which was only a glass of water. I watched as he and a young man tried meeting the needs of the customers. Finally my meal arrived. My meal was okay, the service was not great, not friendly or attentive. In part I perceive that the service was mediocre because of the lack of staff that evening. They just seemed quite disorganized and stressed. To make matters worse they happen to have a demanding table that evening. By all means, my statement is not to insult them. I travel maybe four to five times a week and stay in many hotels. So i am truly aware of what great customer service is and what "okay", customer service is. I stood twice at the hotel this month. I did have the breakfast one morning. The staff at the breakfast, the ladies seem to be more service oriented than the evening staff, mentioned above.
