The restaurant manager (Mark) and staff always remembers our family and welcome us warmly. Their personal, friendly service is a highlight of our stay and a prime reason for our continued, regular visits to this hotel.

Nice that it has a shuttle to Six Flags but it did not leave on time
Purchased breakfast buffet but would have rather gone someplace and had a better breakfast for more money

The hotel was at full capacity and there were a couple of celebrations going on involving drinking. For the most part the stay was satisfactory. We asked for additional coffee packets, shampoo and conditioner (one bottle for myself and three teen age girls isn't enough). We got a night maintenance man, that didn't seem to experienced with room service--he came to the room asking what we wanted with some notes he had. We explained and he returned with 10 bottles of shampoo and conditioner with no coffee. We asked about the coffee and he came back quite a bit later with some, no cups though. The girls went down to the front desk and the night attendant seemed annoyed that he was being bothered and gave them two coffee mugs. We looked at them and one of them was filthy dirty. Other than that we actually had a fairly nice time. The walls seemed a bit thin, I could clearly hear the neighbors.

Great experience! The Kids (7 Year old) preferred this place over " the place who shall not be named with indoor water park". Rooms was very clean and comfortable and loved the pillows. Went online to order a couple. Pool area great and clean which was most important to the younger clients. Will stay again for the quick get away from the city when we do our 3 day GA adventures next month!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by dddeut Nice hotel, but expensive
Hotel had nice comfortable beds, clean rooms. Kind of exprensive, no breakfest is included. Do not count onthe shuttle for six flags, we stood in the rain for 45 minutes waiting then had to pay a taxi. The front desk did give us free dinner for the shuttle not coming, which was nice but the food was terrible. We wished we would have just ordered a pizza.

The hotel’s target market is families with young children and teenage youth groups who are visiting the amusement park, and business travelers who are staying for an event in the adjacent convention center. I made my reservation with an AARP card and had a room to myself. The room was very noisy. I could clearly hear quiet talking in the next room. The hallway noise was the loudest I have ever experienced. The in-room heating and cooling unit had a continuous fan switch but it did not work. The fan only ran when the air conditioner was running. There were no extra blankets. Actually, there wasn’t even a bedspread. I elected to run the air to keep the fan running and drown out the noise but got a bit chilly. I don’t understand why they put an older gentleman, traveling on an AARP card, in a room that was at the crossroads of the pool and elevator. I went into this adventure with low expectations regarding room noise and the hotel failed to even reach that level of comfort.
For those used to having complimentary breakfast this hotel charges and the price is steep. Given the throng of teenage guests I understand why breakfast is not an included amenity. Also, business travelers are relatively price indifferent. The hot buffet is $9 and consists of the standard eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes. If you want juice or soda add another $3. If you want a muffin or cereal, the less-than-impressive continental buffet is another $6. So, the cost for what is a typical, standard breakfast buffet is $18. I was with my son who was traveling with his two daughters, ages 6 and 8, and his 34 year old sister. He checked in just ahead of me and was offered breakfast vouchers for $8.95 which covered both hot and cold buffets. He purchased vouchers for the two adults in his party. When I checked in I asked about the vouchers and was told I would have to pay in the morning. Obviously, I would rather have preferred paying $8.95, rather than $15, but this option was withheld from me.
Despite not being able to sleep more than a few hours each night, and being nickel-and-dimed, the stay wasn’t a total bust thanks to the friendly staff. Nevertheless, I would never stay at this property again. My son concurs.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Kweliman Nice Rooms/Amenities Needed
Rooms are adequate and comfortable but lack refrigeration or microwaves which is a big oversight for a hotel located in a area flooded with restaurants to dine from. It does not accommodate your left overs.
