I was pleased to see that I was upgraded after I was nicely greeted on my late arrival...around 9:30 pm, Thursday night.
The king suite was comfortable and offered two areas for TV watching so it came in handy when one of us wanted to sleep and the other wanted to watch a show.
Enjoyed the stay! Breakfast Sunday morning was great. Had the buffet. The check out time of noon worked very well with my plans.

We stayed one night in this hotel while we were visiting the Dallas area. The hotel is fairly new and has close access to I-75. Upon checking in I was given a voucher for a free drink or appetizer for being a platinum member. (got a free appetizer and it was tasty) When asked if I could get an upgrade the front desk person first told me that there were no rooms clean. When I told her that's ok, I can wait, she called someone on the phone and said she was told the house was full tonight so no upgrade available. I seriously doubted that since there were maybe only 30 cars in the parking lot. Anyways, went up to room and was pleasantly surprised. The room was nice, updated, and clean. There was even a microwave and mini refrigerator. The only thing was there was no bathtub in this room and it appeared to have been a handicap accessible room. The chair in the room was a chaise lounge which was great to be able to prop legs up. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again if we are ever in the area.

I wrote an email describing our visit to Holiday Inn. Got a form email back promising a response within 48 hours. It has been 4 days and nothing. Only bright spot was breakfast. Service was outstanding. Food was very good. We have stayed at this hotel several times since it opened and have always been pleased. The hotel this time was in disarray and seemed dirty in areas. Front desk staff was very indifferent. Not only to me but every guest I observed while sitting in the lobby.
