Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oasis in the Center of Naples While not in the best neighborhood, this hotel is very worthwhile. It´s a good value, the rooms are clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, the hotel has everything, and there is a shuttle to take you to the center of town for tourist purposes. The staff is VERY helpful and you really couldn´t ask for more than all this hotel offers. I would recommend to friends and would definitely stay there again next time I travel to Naples. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and not costly We as a family were travelling as 2 adults and 2 children. Kids eat free in the restaurant and that was of great value - excellent attention to services in the restaurant by the hotel staff and they helped with special dietary needs of the children as we are mostly vegetarian. We stayed 4 nights and the 4th one was free. The hotel is only about 2 kms from the railway station Napoli Centrale. Please note that the hotel shuttle has a capacity of 8 only and you may not get it when the demand is high. In any case, we never used it. One request to the management to add kids TV channels, especially cartoons in the freely available bouquet. August 14, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel in a Run Down Area My wife and I booked a room here for one night as we ended our stay in Italy. We were able to find the shuttle bus stop outside the airport and the bus showed up right at the scheduled time. We were very pleased that it was air conditioned after spending a week on public transportation with no air conditioning. I was surprised that it was only a 10 minute ride to the hotel since the shuttle bus does not run very frequently during the day. Also, since we were leaving on Sunday, there was no shuttle bus available on that day. It was nice that there was a private car driver waiting in the lobby when we checked out to give us a ride to the airport (at a fee). I was surprised when we arrived at the hotel since the street it is on is very run down. I had expected that we were just passing through this area on our way there. Since we were only staying one night the location was a non-issue, but I would not stay here for an extended amount of time. We arrived around noon and a room was available for us on arrival. We were upgraded to a King bed suite without asking, I assume due to my platinum status. The room was very nice and the A/C was working when we entered the room so it was very cool. The suite had a separate sitting and sleeping area. The sitting area had a chair and sofa (both leather), a small table for eating and a small desk for working. We were pleasantly surprised by a room service delivery right before dinner with two small bottles of a sweet wine and some cookies. They were complimentary. The WIFI in my room did not work so I use the computer in the business center, but there was no printer to print out my boarding passes for the next day. The bathroom had an exhaust fan, the shower spray was strong and the towels were absorbent. Unfortunately, I ended up with water all over the bathroom floor after my shower and I don't know exactly why. The bed was firm, but comfortable. The black out curtains worked well and we got a good night's sleep. I was surprised that the final bill was more than expected due to the city tax added to the bill. I had noted that the VAT tax was included in the rate, but it would have been nice to know about the city tax. Upon getting home I went to the Holiday Inn web site and I did find mention of this tax in the rate details on a separate page. Up front disclosure helps to eliminate surprises! August 5, 2015
