The concierge, Alan, was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and made us reservations when needed. His recommendations were always spot on.

We were greeted warmly by the person who took our bags and the person who checked us in.
Both offered to answer any questions we might have. The bedroom was recently redone in a very attractive manner and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The blackout curtains worked well and there was very little outside noise. All areas were immaculately clean. It was a very nice experience all around!

This hotel sits right on the outskirts of the main French Quarter life. One or two blocks from great restaurants and not far from Canal Street. We arrived at the end of a complete remodeling project so we had to deal with hammers, drills, new paint smell, etc. Once these things are complete it will be a great place to stay. We have already booked our fall training seminar for next year at this same hotel. Great little boutique hotel reminding us of the way the city was prior to a visit from a lady in 2005 who shall remain nameless!!!

Great location in the French Quarter. Nicely renovated rooms with fantastic bathroom lighting. Did not use the pool but it has a beautiful courtyard setting. Overall, a very nice place to stay in the Quarter.

We booked our rooms in February. Thought it would be a great location. Location was great. Renovation was taking place during our stay. Horrible. Noisy in the morning. No hot water. We were not told renovation would be taking place. The lady at the check in desk was very rude. She told us to be quiet because she was on the phone. She should be fired for lack of professionalism. Manager needs to evaluate his staff and take leadership. NEVER visit this hotel again. With all this being said, bellboy was absolutely wonderful. Maybe, he should he should be moved into management.

I have stayed here before with no issues or complaints. This time the hotel is under heavy construction with guest floors and common areas. I am a reasonable person so I know the hotel will be much nicer in the coming month or two.

The hotel was being remodeled and wasn't made aware of this until I checked in. The remodeling crew started work at 7 a.m. and the room that I was placed in was right in the middle of the remodeling zone. Had to go to another hotel to use the pool. If I would have known this when I made the reservation, I would not have chose this property.
