The stay at New Oleans-Downtown Super Dome was a wonderful experience . The food service /beverage is true to New Orleans. The staff represented the Holiday Inn very well. Coming from a hospitality industry for 20 years prior. The property is truly a great place to stay. Its convenient to everything a great central location to French Quarters,Garden District, I-10 West Bank Mississippi River Bridge,Harrahs Casino, AmTrack Rail,Greyhound bus station, New Orleans famous Trolley runs in front of the hotel. Blocks from Canal Street. The Super Dome and Pelican Basketball Area is minutes away walking distance.
If you have conduct business with the City of New Orleans or major corporations the location is very close to City Hall and Federal Building and other important place of business. Over all, great place and great parking for the great as well. Come on down to New Orleans you heard me and make this IHG property (Holiday Inn New Orleans Downtown Super Dome) one of your place to stay. You won't regret it.
Keep up the good work and stay true to the brand of IHG Holiday Inn. A positive 360 degree change from my prior stay. Way to go!!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times and was always very happy with my experience while there, however this time was a little different.
I had guests with me and we were heading to the pool so I called to get few extra towels, I was told that there were towels available in the work out room. When we went down to the pool there were no towels in the work out room and so I sent my guest back up to our room to get the towels we had up there. My guest were kind enough to take it upon themselves to go down to the lobby to let them know that there were no towels and were very rudely treated because they were in their pool attire. What do you expect them to wear when they are going swimming and were given incorrect information. Just because they were young boys doesn't mean they should be treated with any sort of disrespect. I may not stay at this location again as I am very upset about this.

Had a horrible time getting rest here. The A/C had only one temperature--cold. It blew directly on the bed. I had to sleep with my head under the covers or sleep in sweat. My beds were too small and sunk in the middle. The staff was very helpful though.

This hotel was great. Within walking distance of the French Quarter. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Checking in and out was so quick and easy. The beds were extremely comfortable. I had a great night stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is the best thing about this hotel and my reason for picking it in the first place. It is an easy walk to the French Quarter. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious. There was a balcony, but no furniture there for sitting and relaxing so I did not make use of it. The hotel gym was adequate in my opinion, with options for cardio and some free weights. I did not use the pool but it looked nice. My biggest peeve is the parking garage, it is a tight fit and I scraped my car going in on a pole, which was very unfortunate.
