Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Usual Standard I stayed at the Holiday Inn Midtown in Manhattan from May 9th. Although the bedroom corridors looked tired and jaded the rooms are large and reasonably well equipped. My room had a safe, essential when traveling on business. I would have liked to see a fridge in the room, but that wasn't critical as the air conditioning was efficient. As always at Holiday Inn staff were competent, efficient and interested. Overall the hotel provides good value for money and I will be happy to stay there again. May 25, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice if you ignore the bathrooms 1. Asked for a place to recycle our plastic bottles at the front desk. The staff person said they do not have special containers, but we could just put it in "that bin" and they would take care of it. It was a trash can, and obviously would not be recycled. It's bad enough not to have this, but then to lie and say it would be "taken care of' was inappropriate. 2. The bathroom was VERY outdated, the paint peeling, the equipment (commode and shower) old, a real turn-off. The rest of the room was quite pleasant. 3. We had asked for a "high floor" and were placed on the 3rd floor. It was only for 1 night, so we did not bother to change. 4. having a feather pillow or 2 in the closet would be nice for those that do not like the small plump firm pillows. May 22, 2015

The meeting room was perfect for our crowd and the lunch in the cafe was excellent, as were the staff that were anticipating our needs. Thanks! May 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff I have stayed at this hotel in the past and was pleasantly surprised with the upgrades. The lobby was large enough to accommodate people waiting for others in the party to check in. The staff was most impressive, from check in to the room service staff, they made us feel like we were their only guest. The location is great, right off the highway and close to many locations in the city.. May 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Habitación espaciosa. Atención del personal muy buena El hotel fue tal y como lo esperaba. Comparando el precio con otros hoteles similares, creo que es muy buena opción, sobre todo por lo espacioso de las habitaciones y la calidad del servicio que presta el personal del hotel. Es cierto que necesita una reforma, se aprecia un tanto antiguo, y también aprecié que en la habitación se escuchaba el ruido de la calle, ya que dabamos a la fachada principal, aunque personalmente no me impidió el descanso. Sobre todo destaco la buena atención por parte de todo el personal del hotel, básicamente en recepción, donde nos solucionaron sin problemas un pequeño problema con el precio de nuestra factura final, y también el Sr. Domingo, que nos facilitó mucha información valiosa a la hora de visitar la ciudad. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Decent value for walking distance to mid-town The rooms were nicely updated, though the lobby and bathrooms should be next on the upgrade plan. This location works well for Times Square area tourist and for business in the mid town area, 15 minute walk to either. As a business traveler I found the Internet access and rooms quite nice, but the lobby, bar and elevators were all older and less updated. Overall a good trade off for the decent value price in this area of town, which is pretty residential. May 17, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Just okay It was one night stay. The hotel is in a good location for my needs. Check-in process was easy but I was given a room where someone was still staying. I had to go back to the front desk and got another room. The staff was friendly and apologized for the mistake and inconvenience I experienced. May 15, 2015
