When I got there and seen where it was and the condition of the hotel. I was more than happy. Thanks management and staff July 2, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly and helpful staff Partial reason for stopping at Holiday Inns is the usual excellent staff people. The same is true for Sacramento. The hotel parking was VERY DFFCULT to follow and understand, however, the staff outdid themselves and responded to our questions and needs. This motel is in the heart of Old Sacramento, and is an "older" building. A walking map of old town or Sacramento would be a BIG help. I always look for the free breakfast and was disappointed not to find it here. We did purchase our breakfast. (No cinnamon rolls in evidence! Shame!) Bed was comfortable and temp. in room good. Parking was available and close to the motel. It wasn't the best HI we've visited, but was okay. BTW, we did not get offered your little ditty bag for Priority Members (water & candy/cookie). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Check-in/Out Excellent customer services, after a long drive, the last thing to worry about is a long wait in line to check in/out. At this location, there was no wait, where it's located, it was a great surprise. I like that very much. Great hotel as far as cleanliness, attractive and well attended. I felt very safe there. Jeremy, the manager, was extremely helpful in parking our truck and trailer overnight in the valet lot. He was very professional and courteous while assisting us with checking in our rooms as well. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Old Sacramento historical sites. I would highly recommend this hotel for future stays! June 25, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A problem that reoccurs It's happened three times so far this year. I make a reservation for my partner, using my affiliated IHG credit card, and fax the correct form to Accounting authorising the use of my card for the stay and for incidentals; I call Accounting at this property to insure that everything is in order, and when he goes to check in they ask for a credit card for incidentals. On one occasion I had to be exceptionally assertive with the desk clerk who responded to my phone call (Accounting being closed at 5:15pm on a Friday, which is understandable), and this last experience was a bit better, as my partner called me and the reception clerk spoke to me and took my word as verification. If I fax the form and call Accounting to make sure it's in effect, why does the Reception Desk personnel not know that the reservation is under his name, not mine, and that my credit card is to be used? If I follow your procedures and they don't work, what is the alternative except to book him into a different hotel? June 23, 2015
