Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Anniversary Stay With our reception package, we received a "complimentary anniversary stay". Yes, the room was comped for our anniversary, but it was part of the very expensive reception package we paid for the year prior for our 250 guests. I called a month in advance to reserve our suite for the weekend of our anniversary. Check in was at 4 and my husband and I arrived at 5 pm to get ready for our dinner reservations. We were told they were finishing up cleaning our room and it would be ready shortly. 30 min later a gentleman came down to the lobby where we were waiting and said that they would take care of our room for the wait. I told him our room was already taken care of and apparently that was enough for him to mention 2 more times that if they hadn't already comped our room, they would take care of it. (I found out later that the "gentleman" was the general manager and he was not by any means caring, hospitable or apologetic). The front desk staff was very nice and apologetic but I still never understood why the room wasn't ready for a 4 pm check in. A lady finally took us up to our room where we were stopped by housekeeping who was still in the room cleaning it at 545 pm. They said they needed 10 more min and I politely asked them to leave the room so we could get ready and come back after we left for dinner. We barely made our dinner reservations on time and there was not a single moment where anyone tried to make anything right....just offered to buy us a drink (I am 7 months pregnant) while we wait. (I did receive 1000 rewards points but I know how much that equates to and it was not anywhere close to being worth the 45 min wait for a clean room). When I called the next day, I was told that check in starts at 4 pm but that doesn't mean that the room will be ready......not sure how to make sense of that one. It took my description of the "gentleman" to get confirmation that he was the general manager (not the head of housekeeping like I was lead to believe by his mannerisms, appearance, and lack of customer service) to receive a free room to use within a year. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relax and Enjoyable Stay The welcoming attitude from the Front Desk set the stage for my extremely enjoyable three day visit. Every one was cheerful and informative as they assisted me. The meals were delicious-especially the bacon and coffee. The exercise and pool areas were excellent. I have and will continue to share this great Missouri Holiday Inn experience. The next time I am traveling through - I'll make a reservation! Enjoy - Nancy Beth September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Experience Nice spacious room. Beautiful decor and big comfy bed. We will definitely be back. Only small issue was housekeeping banging on the door early in the morning when check out time wasn't until noon and she didn't know we were checking out later. I've worked in housekeeping and we left the rooms be if the guests were checking out that day. She just didn't even know. Other than that the stay was perfect and the shower was fantastic! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent accommodations, very clean! The staff (particularly Angela at the front desk) were pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bed and pillows were quite hard. The common areas were clean and nice for the most part except for 2 barrel type chairs in the main area....the seat cushions were falling through the bottom of the chairs. I would absolutely stay here again (again I am going again this weekend). You will enjoy your stay here, I promise. September 29, 2015

She made what could have been a disasters stay (on my mistake) into a MOST EXCELLENT overnight stay. IHG needs more employees like Ebony. She should be the high mark in which other front deck hostess and host need to strive for. September 28, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Review of Holiday Inn St. Louis The desk staff was great. Every time we left the hotel, they would wish us a nice day. Our only concern with the sleeping arrangements was a small dog directly across the hall that started barking as soon as we walked by the room. Fortunately, the customers left the next day.
