Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very good as always I am a regular at this hotel and have never been let down by the room quality or service from the staff. very impressed with all aspects of this hotel (those I use anyway!). One very minor niggle though. Being a newly appointed Platinum Elite member I was looking forward to the possibility of a room upgrade. I appreciate that these are only available where there is availability but was buoyed by the chance when I saw that the hotel was advertising room upgrades on its electronic advertising board at reception. No upgrade for me though .... Not put off though. I am back next week and will continue to use this hotel and brand. Keep up the good work! July 27, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient Helpful staff and clean rooms with a great view of the river. However compared to other locations I have stayed in Central London found it much more expensive and not as good. Bit of a walk to get into the town and at night would need transport. My bed was hard and I found the design of the room could cause accidents and was hard to locate wardrobe at first! Breakfast good but again expensive. Staff very polite and friendly though and in general had a pleasant stay. July 26, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing My stay at this notable hotel was the last of overnight stop-overs on the return - after many years - to my home in the area. The other hotels were also Holiday Inn but 'express', and unpretentious establishments with #however# many redeeming features. This 'South Kingston' hotel has seen better days, though one cannot ignore the small but welcoming reception hall and adjoining restaurant. This section of Portsmouth Road is semi-residential with a number of car businesses within sight, this to a large extent excluding the proximity of the Thames river flowing London-wards. Car parking is inconveniently situated at a location behind the hotel requiring careful driving and a lengthy walk alongside car warehouses or similar. My standard room was comfortable though I suspect in line for refurbishment. My ordered meal - served by a well-mannered Indian waiter - helped me relax before a busy day, I believe this Holiday Inn is better-suited as a location for private functions, one being very much in evidence that particular evening. Unfortunately the situation cries out for space and landscaping, which could transform the attractiveness of a potentially useful venue. July 19, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good room - poor customer service Checking in was good and two of the three rooms were ready early for us to prepare for the wedding. However the third room allocated had not been cleaned and our daughter had to move not ideal when time is limited. Isabella on reception was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us. Sadly the bar staff are not properly trained and the beer provided very poor. Breakfast on the Sunday was spasmodic with things coming out bit by bit and tables being cleared while we were still eating. Khaled was very abrasive on the Saturday evening and I had to ask him to stop pointing at me. Perhaps some staff traing is in order. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Obviously the cleaners know how to do their job. July 16, 2015
