Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best pillows ever! We needed a place to stay overnight for an early early morning flight. Holiday Inn Tampa Airport is very close and easy to get to from freeway. Holiday Inn had the best price and was surprisingly luxurious. The staff had told us that the shuttle did not run early enough to take us to airport and arranged for a taxi. Later we learned that the front desk had arranged for someone from Holiday Inn to take us in the shuttle - so we did not have to take the taxi after all. This was all without us asking or complaining for special treatment. Lastly I would love to find out where they buy their pillows - they were heavenly. May 17, 2015

Although the concierge room didn't offer any food, drinks, etc over the weekend, the woman at check was nice to offer breakfast free of our family....... very thoughtful! We slept well and was refreshed for the next day. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant one. May 13, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business Trip with Family to Tampa This hotel has been smartly renovated. It is clean, comfortable, and the staff is attentive. We enjoyed the pool and buffet breakfast. Two small gripes: our room service trays were left outside our room, one for over 30 hours. One would think that the MOD or security would note dirty trays on their rounds. Secondly, when I seated myself for lunch, a staff person told me that the dining room only had a "grab and go" option. I saw frozen dinners but no microwave. I wouldn't have undertaken that anyway, so I crossed the street and ate at the hotel next door. And nothing screams "Holiday Inn" more than plastic cups wrapped in plastic in the rooms. Glassware is exceedingly more upscale and greener. But overall this hotel is great and our stay was very nice. Good job! May 12, 2015
