Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No AC, multiple room changes We arrived at 1 pm and were told our room wasn't ready which was fine as we were early. When we got back at 7 pm and were ready to put our kids to bed, the room was warm. Turned on AC and it was blowing hot air but was told it would cool down. Asked for a crib and got a rollaway bed. Asked about AC and was given another room which was not a king suite like we had booked. Moved to another suite which still didn't have AC. By the time all was said and done, we were settled in a room without AC at 8:30pm which was way past our kids bedtimes. The next day I asked for a late check out and was told that they could not do a 12 pm check out. Ultimately I was offered some points in a club that I will probably never use. June 4, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and relaxing My stay at the Holiday Inn Express in WRJ provided a pleasant break. I was feeling exhausted and found that I was able to get some deep sleep in the quiet, comfortable room. The staff proved to be friendly and courteous as well as professional. If I'd had more time available I'm sure that I could have made more of my visit, but it still helped me to recharge. May 31, 2014

The maid left the alarm on so it awakened me in AM Eggs in AM were terrible - rubbery obviously not even checked by staff before presenting for comsumption. If only some of the other HIE's could learn from these folks. Courteous, thoughtful staff. Always an immediate upgrade to a suite (without having to ask.# Little extras at breakfast #muffins, fresh fruit.) Comfortable beds. Plenty of room to realx & also get some work done. Can't say enough good things about this HIE. Keep up the great job & I'll see you again in the Fall. May 19, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Staff Very friendly, helpful staff. Upgraded my room to a large suite with kitchenette, workspace, bed area and living room area. Breakfast is just a expected. Love the cinnamon rolls! The shower was the only disappointment. The spray was either sharp needles spraying far out to the sides so you couldn't stand under all of it or full flow out of the center ... like standing under a garden hose with no nozzle. The shower had very large, odd, corner shelves that made it difficult to get under the shower flow. April 21, 2014

Disappointed that I was not welcomed as a Platinum IHG Rewards member. The room had a couple of maintenance issues that should have been fixed but overall the room was OK. Breakfast was the usual HIX fare nothing exceptional. Overall, I'd stay again and it was good value for the area. April 17, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room was much too hot to be comfortable; avoid room # 357 As soon as we checked in and went to our room , we knew it was too hot to be able to sleep - When I called down to see if they could do something about it, or switch rooms, I was put on hold for a very long time. I finally hung up. The front desk called me back and said there might be a room on the 4th floor we might like but she had to check it first. I asked if the thermostat could be controlled, since this was the issue. She did not know. i said don't bother to move us we'll open the windows wide and live with it. We did have the windows wide open the entire stay (2 nights ) and it was still overly warm. It probably cost Holiday Inn a lot of money but no one ever came to check on the heat and they did not seem to care they were wasting energy and $$ on the stifling condition in that room. (# 357) Next time we'll stay elsewhere. On a positive note, breakfast was OK. April 9, 2014

Received an unexpected 'wake up call" at 5 in the morning but that must have been a system glitch and didn't really bother me that much. Overall, my stay there was pleasant. January 3, 2014

We were out of the room for most of Sat. returning about 3:30pm to find the room had not been made up. At 4:30pm the maid knocked on the door and asked to clean the room. Unfortunately I wasn't here for either business nor pleasure as my father was admitted to the hospital across the street and I needed a place to stay for the night. I walked in an was greeted immediately by a very friendly young man. He checked me in with lightening speed as he was aware I had a very long day. The room was clean and beautiful! I felt so comfortable there, it was quite and well maintained. I would recommend this hotel . Thank you for making my stay a pleasant and positive one. December 7, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Average Holiday Inn Express - would likely stay here again. I stayed here for 1 week in November and would classify the hotel as an average Holiday Inn Express. I have stayed at much nicer ones this year and but also a few that were much much worse. The pros: breakfast, internet speed, water pressure The cons: no perks for thank you's for being a Platinum member, service was.... average. I really just wasn't blown away by the employees with niceness like I am at many other IHG properties. Also, this was the first Holiday Inn Express where they didn't have a mini store for drinks or light snacks. Because I try to stay loyal to IHG I would stay here again. But if it weren't for that I would stay at a different chain (they are in the same parking lot next time). November 20, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Went to another Hotel My experience in this hotel started out on a poor note: My travel agent requested a quiet room and instead I was given a room directly over the AC heat exchanger (At the end of July). I had to change rooms at 11pm when I discovered this issue. Quality of service has slowly declined since then, culminating in today's issues: Room was not cleaned as of 2:30 pm (on a Sunday) Sheets had not been changed all week. Person at the front desk gave me serious attitude in regards to my request to have the sheets changed, as if 8 days with the same bed sheets was OK. Other issues with the room: Dishes and silverware not clean, with bits of food still stuck to them Handle fell off the stove Bath sink drips, drain half clogged. TV picture quality has been dreadful Internet (high speed) is throttled after 60-90 minutes WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. November 10, 2013
