We have several Newcastle budget hotels spread across and around the city. These include a hotel near the Metrocentre and hotels in central locations too.
Newcastle is the economic hub of the North East, sitting on the River Tyne just 8 miles from the North Sea. It's a popular city for party animals and museumgoers alike. Some of Newcastle's most well-known landmarks include the impressive Tyne Bridge, Millennium Bridge and Grey's Monument.
The city is also home to almost 10 museums and galleries. There's the Great North Museum, the Discovery Museum and the Stephenson Railway Museum, to name just a few.
The city attracts thousands of shoppers each weekend. The Eldon Square shopping centre in the Newcastle city centre houses a number of high street brands. If you venture out of town, you can visit the massive Metrocentre, which, in addition to its hundreds of shops, has its own indoor funfair! The Grainger Market is open 7 days a week and has food stalls, cafes, souvenir stands, household goods and fashion stalls too.
Think Newcastle and you undoubtedly think of the black and white stripes of Newcastle Football club, whose stadium is in the heart of the city centre. Newcastle also has a horse racing course as well as a dog racing track.
With its own airport, Newcastle has direct links to a number of UK cities. It's also on the East Coast mainline, connecting the city with London by rail in around 3 hours.
This is a city that always welcomes its visitors with open arms. Stay at one of our Newcastle budget hotels to enjoy the city's many attractions without spending a fortune.

The joy of staying at the Holiday Inn is the feeling that you are part of the family. It gives personality to the relationship between the staff and the guest. I find that because the stadards of the[More] hotel chain are maintained throughout the chain that the warm welcome received is transferred from place to place. and over international boundaries.[Less]
Great room - admin and service issues
By Honey Monster
There was an issue with reservations as I had prepaid the rooms but this had not registered on the system- turned out I had overpaid and await this refund. Desk staff struggled to sort this. Bar[More] service very poor as one staff member unable to cope with number of guests requiring service so we had to look elsewhere for food and drink. Room comfort and facilities excellent and breakfast also really good.[Less]
really comfortable beds and soft bedding - lovely airy room and very helpful staff. Chocolate, fresh water and an aromatherapy sleep kit really helped me to sleep well and feel comfortable.[Less]
A Nice Change
I really enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza in Newcastle. Although it is a high end property, it was so straight forward and unfussy. A real pleasure and surprise.[Less]
