Featured Beijing Hotels

Beijing is the capital of the People's Republic of China and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
Despite the modern façade, the city's endless array of historic attractions is the real draw here.
One could spend days, if not their entire Beijing hotel stay, exploring its beautiful palaces, temples and landscapes. Choose your Holiday Inn Express® hotel in Beijing wisely, and you'll get the most out of your trip to this fascinating city.

Beijing's simple grid-like layout and abundance of public transportation make it easy to navigate.
However, the city is heavily congested with traffic.
Your best bet is to focus on one area of Beijing at a time.
Dong Cheng's central location and numerous attractions make it a great place to start.
This district is home to Tiananmen Square, the National Museum of China, Temple of Confucius and the Forbidden City.
This "city within a city" was the private residence of Ming and Qing emperors and their families for more than 500 years.
A good portion of the city is in disrepair (and closed to the public), but the grand palaces, hallways and courtyards that remain are sure to impress.
South of Tiananmen, you'll find the Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to perform religious ceremonies.
Today, the temple serves as a tourist attraction and large public space, and you're more likely to see Tai Chi performed in mass on the front lawn than any ancient rituals.

Beijing's universities and the high-tech industries of ZhongGuanCun (dubbed "China's Silicon Valley") can be found north of the city in the Haidian district.
Haidian is also home to the Summer Palace and its magnificent gardens.
Of course, no Beijing hotel stay is complete without a trip to the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The views from the popular Badaling section are worth the crowds and tourist kitsch.

If you prefer the hustle and bustle of modern day Beijing, don't worry.
The city offers plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options too.
Load up on souvenirs at the famous Panjiayuan Market, then follow the glow of red lanterns to the snack shops of Gui Jie (Ghost Street) for inexpensive Chinese dumplings and Peking duck.
If you're truly daring, venture to the Wangfujing Night Market and sample local delicacies like scorpions, sea cucumbers and deep-friend grasshoppers.
Beijing nightlife can accommodate just about any traveler's taste.
Enjoy cocktails and twilight boat rides on Houhai Lake, trendy dance clubs in the Sanlitun district, and traditional Beijing Opera is the city's theatres and tea houses.

Book one for our hotels in Beijing today and start planning your trip to this truly unique destination.

Hotel ok, Location just soso
By Ralthammer
The Hotel is fairly new and the staff is really good. They speak proper english at the front desk. The location isnt that good. The Name is misleading. There is still about 10km distance to the [More] airport. So its not an airport hotel. There is a free shuttle, but the frequency is very low. First one at seven, next at nine. At least once per hour should be possible. [Less]
Good visit

Great hotel semi-near PEK with a nice breakfast and dinner
By AndrewSFO
I stayed here as I was on layover for 20 hours in PEK going from America to Southeast Asia. I have stayed here before and have always thought it's a nice property. It's about a 10 minute taxi from [More] the airport. The staff's english isn't perfect but they can communicate. They're very accommodating to requests. The restaurant is really good. Their prices are very reasonable and have some yummy Chinese dishes. Whenever I stay there I try something different, and have never been disappointed. Great selection of food. Breakfast is included and is much better than most other Express properties. They have a huge selection, much more than most hotels. The hotel has laundry self service facility is nice because then I can sit in the restaurant and have a beer and do my laundry at the same time. Very nice to be able to do it right in the hotel. Hidden Gem
By Marty1988
I was in China for 10 days. 8 of those days/nights I spent at this gem. There may be other cheaper hotels and Holiday Inns in Beijing with more bells and whistles, but if you are a first time visitor [More] to this wonderful city, this is the place to stay. Other hotels put you in the city center, or are cheaper and are too far, this may be a problem if you are not familiar with transportation. I chose this because it was within walking distance of most famous Chinese historical places. I emailed the hotel directly and they were very helpful; they told me how to get to the hotel on the cheap, helped me with my tours, transportation to Xi'an (G/Bullet Train#, and other tour destinations. Most of the staff speaks English. When I left for Xi'an I asked for the same room on my return and they were able to fulfill my request #though, no guarantee). Went during Christmas vacation and it was perfect: no crowds, over-priced stuff, etc. and all the stuff one hears about how Chinese crowds could be did not materialize. Hence, next time I will go to Beijing during the summer and for a longer stay. I have been told the time to go to Beijing is after Lunar New Year and before April. I WILL be staying here during my next stay/return. I can go on for another few paragraphs but I think those reading this get the gist. [Less]
