Featured Berlin Hotels

Today's Berlin is a modern and culturally vibrant city, brimming with beautiful architecture, world-class arts and a thriving nightlife scene.
Not to mention, a profusion of museums, monuments and attractions to explore during your Holiday Inn Express® Berlin hotel stay.

Few vestiges remain of the wall that once divided the German capital, and visitors move freely about the city, often unaware which side they are on. Perhaps the most impressive feat is the speed in which Berlin rebuilt itself.
The once desolate Potsdamer Platz is now a bustling corporate square with shops, restaurants and luxury condominiums.
Catch the latest IMAX movie or German art house film at the Sony Center, a massive retail and entertainment complex located in the heart of Potsdamer Platz.

The Mitte district, formerly part of East Berlin, has become Berlin's city center and a major tourist draw.
The tree-lined Unter den Linden leads to the Pariser Platz promenade and towering Brandenburg Gate - one of Berlin's most treasured and beautiful monuments, especially at night when the gates light up.
The Reichstag is only a block away, and the 360-degree view from the glass dome roof of this German parliament building is worth the long wait in line.

While you're in the neighborhood, check out Tiergarten Park.
Here you'll find the Berlin Zoo, Berlin Philharmonic and some of the most beautiful green spaces and walking paths in the city. The Mitte is also home to the East Berlin art scene, Auguststrasse.
If you're looking for ways to save during your Berlin hotel stay, you'll be happy to know that most of the galleries offer free admission.

The Western Zone of Berlin is considered the more commercial side of the city.
It also hosts the majority of Berlin's businesses, conventions and festivals.
The Ku'Damm (short for Kurfürstendamm) is a popular avenue for its upscale shops, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, as well as the greatest concentration of luxury hotels in Berlin.
Not too far from the Ku'Damm is Schloss Charlottenburg, the largest palace in Berlin.
Despite being burnt to the ground during World Word II, Charlottenburg has been fully restored to its Baroque glory, and both the palace and the grounds are a popular tourist stop.

You many not see it all in one visit, but our Holiday Inn Express Berlin hotels can put you near the major attractions on your list.

Ideal base to explore
By Bri77
I stayed here for four nights with a friend. I stay in a lot of Holiday Inns, and this is one doesn't deviate from the usual good standard. The front desk staff were all friendly, the rooms quiet [More] and comfortable and the bathrooms clean. As usual for a Holiday Inn 'proper', breakfast was very well stocked and staffed, if a little expensive. It's well located right next to a tram stop which runs directly to Alexanderplatz, and is two blocks from an S-Bahn station on the useful S41/42 Ring route and others. Transport tickets can be bought from the front desk. There are several supermarkets and convenience stores nearby too. Negatives? The aircon/heating unit was a bit noisy if it was turned up, and the shower temperature was extremely variable in my room. My friend had a room down the corridor and didn't have the same issues, though. The gym is also very small and the cross trainer needed a bit of tightening up, but at least it is there. Overall, a good stay. Recommended. [Less]

Good service and good food
By oneplanet
Ate dinner in the hotel on 2 nights, which I don't normally do, but I found the food to be very good, although selection a bit limited. Good value for money and very good service. The waiter was very [More] attentive and happy to advise. [Less]
Friendly and helpful staff and lovey rooms
By Fussy Lady
We could not fault this hotel. The staff were exceptional and the rooms were kept spotless. We had one little "accident", my husband had a slight nosebleed in the night and soiled a pillow. Very [More] embarrassing. But it wasn't mentioned by the staff. So kind. The atmosphere was very relaxed and made our stay in Berlin a happy one. [Less]
Good location with parking
By Pooden
The hotel was fine for my short stay in Berlin. I would recommend a mini bar in the rooms. The breakfast was overpriced, dining room very crowded and not enough tables. Parking was a plus and public [More] transportation to key sights was excellent. Overall, it met my needs in Berlin for my short stay. [Less]
Wonderful location
By Babasusan
Really excellent location for a visit to Berlin - with the downtown sites all within walking distance. The only complaint was that the room was very warm and the heat controls were not effective - [More] but it could have been the wonderful weather we had during our visit :-). [Less]
