KC Stay

This hotel is was very convenient to the area we were visiting. The staff was very friendly, our room was very nice, looked like it had been renovated fairly recently. There was a rather stale smell, [More] we noticed in the bathroom, like stale cigarettes. Other than not having a complimentary breakfast, this is a nice quiet place to stay. [Less]
Great location and friendly front desk staff

It does show its age but front desk is very good and the location can't be beat. [Less]
Great facility

Great facility that was very clean and hospitable. The staff was extremely helpful as my schedule changed due to a death in the family. I was able to adjust my visit without issue. I am never [More] disappointed in my visits to the Staybridge Suites. [Less]

Exceeded expectations!
By Celltechfamilyman
I normally stay in Holiday Inn Express or Candlewood but a coworker of mine was staying at this Stay Bridge and it was close to a few steakhouses so I said what the heck. Wow, am I glad I did. The [More] staff was excellent they matched my friends rate and set me up quickly. I was bummed at first because they put me in a room that was next to the elevator on the 1st floor. I was working 3rd shift so I just knew that during the day with all the traffic in the hallways would keep me awake. Well I was wrong. My room stayed nice and quiet and hall noise was minimal if I even noticed at all. The staff was very friendly especially the manager from Hawaii. The place was very well kept and cozy. When in the KC area this will be my place to stay. A+ [Less]

great downtown getaway
By KC1stTimer
I used points and cash to have a mini-vaca and meet family in KC. We had 2 rooms, including executive level. 1st visit to downtown KC and could not have been happier with the hotel and its services [More] and vicinity to Power and Light District. The hotel was fully booked, but only had to wait on the elevator 1 time when someone had punched every button in all the elevators. Otherwise, there was no waiting for concierge breakfast, or happy hour, valet, or front desk. prompt maid service during the day also. With a fully booked hotel and my points, I received an upgrade, which was fantastic. I saw complaints about noise, but my headboard wall was also the hallway wall and I never heard any excessive noise. Bed was very comfortable, but I didn't give it a 5 star because it wasn't the big pillowtop or memory foam that you expect in this type of hotel. Bathrooms are smaller but not uncomfortable. décor was nice but not highly luxurious. I didn't use the amenities other than the concierge and valet. Would loved to have had a hot tub, but I don't know when we would have fit it in anyway. If you have a choice, definitely pick the executive level. [Less]
Excellent Front Desk Staff

The young ladies who welcomed us on our arrival were very friendly and helpful in getting us settled and suggesting places to eat. They continually greeted us throughout our stay also. We had a [More] very enjoyable stay. [Less]
