Featured New Orleans Hotels

As a guest of one of our Holiday Inn Express® New Orleans hotels, you'll enjoy the rich history, great music and diverse culture and cuisine of Louisiana's most celebrated city.

Hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and tour the beautiful Southern mansions of the Garden District or spend the day - if not your entire New Orleans hotel stay - wandering the charming streets of the French Quarter.
There's art and antiques on Royal Street, trendy boutiques and gift shops on Magazine Street and lively street performers and musicians in Jackson Square.
Enjoy a cup of chicory coffee and fresh beignets on the patio of Café Du Monde or duck into one of the Quarter's seemingly hole-in-the-wall restaurants for authentic Creole gumbo and spicy jambalaya. Bourbon Street can be a bit of a tourist trap during the day, but once the sun goes down, New Orleans' famous party district earns its reputation.

Enjoy sugary-sweet rum hurricanes and authentic New Orleans jazz as you dance the night away in Bourbon's legendary bars and clubs.

If you're willing to venture out of the city center during your stay at our New Orleans hotels, stop by one of the above-ground cemeteries.
St. Louis is the oldest (dating back to 1789), and its hauntingly beautiful tombs have been featured in major Hollywood movies and works of fiction.
Tour groups are your best and safest bet here; although, carriage tours of the cemetery can be a real treat.
New Orleans carriage drivers are all certified tour guides, and their knowledge of the city's history and culture, as well as their local flavor and spin are far better than any travel book.

Of course, this is only a sampling of what the Big Easy has to offer our New Orleans hotel guests.
Time your visit during Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest to experience the lavish and boisterous festivals that make this city so special.

Nice place to stay
By From up north in Michigan
Nice and clean. The only issue we had was the "sliding barn door" that served as the door to the shower and toilet. Kinda noisy on the tracks and it did not close highly. First time I have ever [More] experienced that in a hotel/motel. Lots of plugs for phones, tablets computers and the beds were great. [Less]
Utilitarian Chic
By Chuck the tuba
Hotel seems relatively new. Decor was a bit unusual--different from other HIEs I've stayed in. I'd describe it as Utilitarian Chic. I liked it. There were plenty of USB outlets to charge our [More] electronics. Though on a busy downtown street, noise was not an issue, and the blackout curtains worked well. Staff was friendly and efficient. Everything was great, the location near Bourbon Street, the friendly staff. Great Breakfast! The only problem was the bar staff in the evening. We stopped to enjoy a coffee at the hotel bar after a [More] great evening on Bourbon Street and twice ingnored by bartender. When we finnally, got his attention his approach was "What do you want?" in a very rude voice. After we place our order, our coffee was served in "to go cups". It made us feel unwelcomed. On the other hand the hotel staff was GREAT! They were friendly and helpful. Loved the hotel location, will go back, but enjoy a drink at any of the other bars off Bourbon Street! [Less]
Location, location, but no service
By mbuckie
Do not stay at this hotel if you expect typical Crowne Plaza courtesy or service. The location is perfect for the French Quarter, but the staff needs training to address problems. Valet is [More] expensive. Upon leaving valet tried giving me the wrong vehicle without checking my ticket. I had to wait over 50 minutes for my vehicle. This is very similar to other reviews that I read before staying at the hotel. Bedding is uncomfortable. We had a double bed room. One bed was 5 inches lower than the other bed. The center of the bed was completely worn and inverted. I gave higher reviews due to location and quietness of hotel. Lobby, interior, and exterior meet all other standards. [Less]
Great Service
By Cougars3
The stay was prety good. The room was freezing and although we turned the thermostat off the air continued to blow all day and night. the vents were located directly off the ceiling to the bed so we [More] had to sleep with the blanket over our heads each night. The maids did not clean the bathrooms they only changed the towels each day. Other than that we made it work. [Less]
