Featured New Orleans Hotels

As a guest of one of our Holiday Inn Express® New Orleans hotels, you'll enjoy the rich history, great music and diverse culture and cuisine of Louisiana's most celebrated city.

Hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar and tour the beautiful Southern mansions of the Garden District or spend the day - if not your entire New Orleans hotel stay - wandering the charming streets of the French Quarter.
There's art and antiques on Royal Street, trendy boutiques and gift shops on Magazine Street and lively street performers and musicians in Jackson Square.
Enjoy a cup of chicory coffee and fresh beignets on the patio of Café Du Monde or duck into one of the Quarter's seemingly hole-in-the-wall restaurants for authentic Creole gumbo and spicy jambalaya. Bourbon Street can be a bit of a tourist trap during the day, but once the sun goes down, New Orleans' famous party district earns its reputation.

Enjoy sugary-sweet rum hurricanes and authentic New Orleans jazz as you dance the night away in Bourbon's legendary bars and clubs.

If you're willing to venture out of the city center during your stay at our New Orleans hotels, stop by one of the above-ground cemeteries.
St. Louis is the oldest (dating back to 1789), and its hauntingly beautiful tombs have been featured in major Hollywood movies and works of fiction.
Tour groups are your best and safest bet here; although, carriage tours of the cemetery can be a real treat.
New Orleans carriage drivers are all certified tour guides, and their knowledge of the city's history and culture, as well as their local flavor and spin are far better than any travel book.

Of course, this is only a sampling of what the Big Easy has to offer our New Orleans hotel guests.
Time your visit during Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest to experience the lavish and boisterous festivals that make this city so special.

Beautiful hotel
By Not the Cavalry
We loved our stay in the hotel. The staff was excellent, the room was beautiful, and it was very convenient for walking around the French Quarter. We plan to come back to New Orleans in the future, [More] and we will be staying at the Chateau Lemoyne again! The price was excellent for the area, and I was not expecting the hotel room to actually look as good as the photos online, but it did! [Less]
Great French Quarter hotel
By Cakes 70
We were able to walk to everything in the French Quarter. The rooms were very nice. There is a wonderful Bar attached to the hotel. Happy hour is great. $3 Martinis and the fried Calamari is to die [More] for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the French Quarter. [Less]
Great location! Bathroom and room needs changes
By TNfamilyman
Best price for a very good hotel in a fantastic location. Staff in lobby the best. Price for parking was way too much. Please note I will stay here again. I have suggested to make the following [More] modifications: 1) Add vent fan and towel racks in bathroom 2) Have fridges with temp controls - their fridge freezes can drinks 3) Toilet seat uncomfortable - sharp edges 4) Cabinet that TV sets on has small doors that open up for the fridge and coffee - These doors shut down movement in the room 5) My room overlooked courtyard but window does not open. 6) Drinks in bar cost more than the best restaurants in area. Overall, this place is still the best value in the French Quarter. All of my suggestions, if not corrected, will not stop me from staying there again. The only "problem" is the fridge freezing your drinks. [Less]
Comfortable room and great service
By Titangirl
Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and the room was larger than the average hotel room. Even the food at the restaurant was great! [Less]

Great Stay
By Zimm44
We went to New Orleans to get married and everyone from the front desk to the concierge was very helpful, both even sent us champagne twice. We did have to wait a while to check in and then they said [More] that several of the king rooms were being renovated so we had a handicapped room instead. The only negativething I can remember was that I had to ask for a fan for the room two days in a row. Overall the location & the staff were perfect. We would stay here again. [Less]
A real Gem! Right at the head of Bourbon Street
By Michael122
I am a Platinum Elite member so I stay at many different IHG properties, and this one really exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive. The amenities were great...Although I [More] didn't use the roof top pool, I looked at it and it has a great view. The fitness center was larger and had more equipment than many of the other properties I have stayed at. The business center is only accessible by room key so your work stays private. There are 4 computers in the business center. There are ample, quick elevators. There is an oyster/seafood restaurant and bar on site. The bar has the largest selection of Bourbons in New Orleans! The room was clean and spacious. The mattress was quite comfortable, however the pillows were simply foam and not very comfortable, so I would suggest bringing your own. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. [Less]
