My family of 4 was in town for a weekend wedding. After traveling over 5 hours in horrific traffic, we were warmly greeted by Chris who acted as though he was expecting us. He made our check-in [More] process smooth; he was able to provide easier traveling direction, suggested kid-friendly extra curricular activities and directed us to needed shopping. I was surprised when I arrived at the hotel, Because when I call them before I went to D.C., the staff, who answered the phone, gave me an impression that this is not a good hotel, But when I get [More] there, I found it was actually a nice hotel. Really nice modern, clean room with a fancy tv and solid channel lineup. Bed, pillows, and sheets were all comfortable and the room was quiet given the airport/cty environment. A/c was ice cold, [More] which I know many will like, but for me was a battle to find the right temp. Other than the a/c, my stay was great and I would come back on my next trip through DCA. [Less]

I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express in the downtown Baltimore, MD area. It was close to a lot of attractions and a safe area to walk. I wrote a bad review by mistake for this hotel when it was suppose to be for a hotel in OH. We had been at this hotel a few day before and it was great. My husband had to have 2 days of testing at [More] John Hopkins, the shuttle was great the staff were so nice. The shuttle people would willingly have driven us to a place for dinner, but we were both exhausted. The front desk called to verify that the food was to be brought to our room. We will definitely stay at this hotel if the need arises again. Thank you for making the stay as pleasant as possible. (the manager called me when he received the bad review asking what they can do to make it right, they even talked with their team and decided I needed to be called things just didn't make sense!
