Featured Lincoln Hotels

Our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Lincoln are just a short drive from Historic Haymarket restaurants and shops and the bluestem prairie grass in Nine Mile Prairie Park.

Head to the University of Nebraska campus near our Lincoln hotels for the city's favorite sporting event: Cornhusker football at Memorial Stadium. Art lovers from around the world flock to the university's International Quilt Study Center to see colorful, hand-stitched quilts and other fiber arts. Free tours introduce visitors to the Nebraska State Capitol building, where a bronze Abraham Lincoln greets guests and colorful mosaics and handsome wood carvings reveal Nebraska's pioneer history. From our hotels in Lincoln, it's a short drive to Lincoln's west side to walk along the free footpaths of Nine Mile Prairie Park. The park's rare virgin tallgrass prairie is chirping with birdsong and dotted with cottonwood trees and white-fringed orchids.

From our hotels in Lincoln, head to the Historic Haymarket for casual cafe meals, crystal-and-linen dinners or a leisurely late-night drink. In the 1860s this neighborhood was congested with horse-drawn wagons and hay vendors and trains chugalugging in and out of Nebraska's first train depot. These days the Haymarket is the city's shopping and dining centerpiece. Sit beneath a 19th-century water tower-now converted into a splashing fountain-and sip Nebraska's first craft beer. Then order up a tender, juicy Nebraska steak from cattle raised just outside the city on fertile prairie pastureland.

Stay at our hotels in Lincoln and discover one of the prairie's most vibrant cities. In summer, snack on corndogs at the Nebraska State Fair, and in autumn don your red and white to cheer on the University of Nebraska football team.

this holiday inn was comfortable and clean. the fitness center was lacking. [Less]
Comfortable bed, great service and pet friendly.
By Margaret389
We travel a lot and have bad backs, we greatly appreciate the comfortable beds and pillows. We travel with out dogs and appreciate being allowed to have them in the hotel. I hate the $50 charge but [More] understand some people not training and controlling their pets have caused this but wish they charged a deposit and gave us part of it back when they realize our dogs don't cause any damage. Too Loud
By AbePik
There was too much noise from the trucks accross the street all day and night. This made the room vibrate on and off the whole night, this made for a bad night sleep. Can't do much about it, just not [More] a place I would stay again. [Less]

comfortable room and great service
By BigDog4LSU
I had a very good experience staying with your hotel for this week. I thought the price was fair for the product and the place was very comfortable and useful. I think that there could have been more [More] frequent service given to the room for those staying extended stays. I was working a construction job and it was muddy so my shoes tracked mud on the floor and there was not even a broom in the room. This became a nuisance. Also, if there could have been a toaster oven in the room that would have made the kitchen even more useful and really would have been worth the cost of one. Lastly, the thermostat on the wall was really hit an miss. The room was warm even though it was cold outside and the A/C short cycled on and off really quickly making it get hot with the covers on. Our Temporary Home
By Celtic Shaman
My family and I needed a place to stay while we sought out the place we wanted to purchase and call home. The Candlewood Suites' staff has been very helpful and understanding of our issues, and we [More] were allowed to bring our fur babies, while other places denied us accommodations because of them. Gabe, Larry, and Sharla have been fantastic in helping me and my family feel welcome, which took a lot of stress out of an already stressful situation. [Less]
Get Rid of the Smoking Bench Out Front
By dmwestern
The room was a great value overall; the only noise complaints were the heavy footsteps of those in the room above me, and minimal hallway noise. My first impression of the hotel was based on two [More] guests sitting on a bench right outside the main entrance...not very inviting and actually it's quite the turn-off. It should be moved so non-smokers don't have to walk through smoke to check-in or get to our rooms. [Less]
