Featured Raleigh Hotels

Raleigh is the capital city of North Carolina and home to several academic institutions, including North Carolina State University.
But don't dismiss Raleigh simply as a college town. It's a popular destination for business and leisure, as well as proud parents and sports fans.
And with several hotels in Raleigh and nearby Durham and Chapel Hill, Holiday Inn Express® Hotels is the perfect choice for any and all Raleigh-bound travelers.

Guests of our downtown Raleigh hotels will enjoy our proximity to the city's main business district, including RBC Tower (home of the Royal Bank of Canada) and the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts. Take a walking tour of the Fayetteville Street Historic District, where examples of Raleigh's classic architecture, like the State Capitol Building, Briggs Hardware and the Sir Walter Raleigh Hotel, are sure to please.
At night, enjoy a variety of cuisines in the City Market, a charming dining and shopping district that features beautiful old red brick storefronts and cobblestone streets.

Fashionistas will want to hit up the boutiques of Cameron Village, while hockey lovers will want to catch a Carolina Hurricanes game at the Raleigh Entertainment & Sports Arena.
There's also minor league baseball (Carolina Mudcats and Durham Bulls) and hometown collegiate favorites, the NC State University Wolfpack.
Time your visit to our Raleigh hotels in the fall to take advantage of the North Carolina State Fair or in the spring for the World Beer Festival - Raleigh's microbrewery scene has garnered the city much praise.

Round out your stay in our Raleigh hotels with a museum tour of the city.
There's local history at the Raleigh City Museum, a diorama and wildlife exhibits at the Museum of Natural Sciences and diverse permanent collections at the Museum of Art.

this was the first Holiday Inn Express that did not acknowledge that I was an IGA card holder. IN addition, no welcome gift, e.g bottle of water, extra points for stay. [Less]
Overnight stop via FL to MD
By Gnarly Dude
Our 2nd visit to this hotel property. Mostly comfortable and excellent service. Some issues with noise from the room above. An issue with the air conditioning that did not permit the shade for the [More] window interfering with the flow of air from the A/C unit. Room 211 window looked over the arrival area and the inability to shut the shade made sleeping difficult. [Less]

Good Property
By Fourester
I stay here when in the area for business. The only changes I would make, which includes all IHG properties where I have stayed, is blackout curtains that you can close on the windows. It is always [More] very bright outside the windows, and there is no way to block it out. This time, I had 2 double beds, so I hung the bedspread from the other bed over the window. Another issue is the size of the parking spaces. Construction workers are the primary users of the IHG properties during the week, and they have big trucks, as do I. It is hard to get into these spots. Bigger spots and more maneuvering room would be nice. Everything else here is standard for Holiday Inn Express properties. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of eating places in the area, and a full service gym across the road, as well as a track at a park nearby. Close to Jordan Recreation Area. Just off US 1. I recommend especially if in town on business. [Less]
