You can browse the dozen art galleries displaying pottery and paintings by local Ohio artists along North High Street in the Short North Arts District. The downtown Arena District draws sports fans and concertgoers to the Columbus Nationwide Arena. Neighboring sports bars and casual restaurants welcome revelers after each event. In German Village, you can top off a good Bavarian meal of knockwurst and cabbage with a slice of dark German chocolate cake. A refreshing microbrewed nightcap is steps away in the nearby Brewery District and close to our hotels in Columbus.

If you're in town for "Football Saturday" in the autumn, savor the tailgate parties that warm up outside Ohio Stadium before every Buckeye home game. You may even sample a grilled sausage or two before you head for the stadium.

Adequate place to stay
By Sharon1061
The hotel was in a convenient location for my business meetings. There was a fair amount of noise from traffic especially in the morning (garbage truck or something). Staff were courteous though. [More] Decor in the room seemed dated, but clean. Breakfast was just adequate, regular quality fare. [Less]

Please with my stay!
Overall experience was good. Only problem I had was the mix up with the room put us in handicap room instead of Jacuzzi suite. The pool was the best this Holiday Inn has salt water pool no chlorine I [More] love that! To the staff thank you so much! Breakfast could have more healthier choices. TV remote back was broken and kept falling off. But the room was very clean the remote was the only thing I notice. [Less]
Nice place to stay
By wgtiger
We enjoyed our stay, however I think management should perform a daily walk around the building. There were cigarette butts on the ground near benches, because there were very few if any butt [More] disposals. The front lobby rug had a huge unsightly stain. Other minor, visual issues outside that have been neglected. The guest bathroom had issues that were visual, not functional. Unsightly toilet seat hinge, shower drain stopper and overflow cover. All minor issues, but show some lack of concern. [Less]

attractive room with a few hiccups

Recently redecorated room was well appointed and attractive. First room assigned hadn't been made up. Second room the AC didn't work. Someone knew about it as the temp was turned down to 60 and fan [More] on high. Nice price. Legislature must not be in session. Convenient location for dining at all levels. [Less]
