Featured Oklahoma City Hotels

You'll feel right at home in our Holiday Inn Express® hotels in Oklahoma City, a former cow town whose many attractions embrace its Wild West heritage.

Spend a free afternoon touring the galleries at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in the Adventure District, a short drive from our hotels in Oklahoma City. The mythologized American West of John Wayne and Roy Rogers is honored in the museum's Western Performers Gallery; other galleries house striking Western-themed art by the likes of Charles Russell and Frederick Remington. Head downtown to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, close to our Oklahoma City hotels, and admire Dale Chihuly's whimsical glass works. The museum screens independent and classic films Thursday through Sunday and has a full-service cafe for a bite to eat or a relaxing cocktail. A few blocks north, the somber Field of Empty Chairs memorial outside the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum features 168 bronze chairs, one for each of the victims of the 1993 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. Inside the museum, exhibits include moving eyewitness accounts and news footage.

The strip of Western Avenue between 36th Street and Wilshire Boulevard is home to a cluster of shops and moderately priced rib shacks, pizzerias and Mexican cafes. In downtown's Bricktown, restaurants and bars populate vintage red-brick warehouses along a leafy canal that gives the neighborhood a European feel. Guests at our Oklahoma City hotels can enjoy hand-cut Oklahoma steaks or tangy ribs with a mug of locally brewed beer. Bricktown clubs stay open late on weekends for line dancing and live music.

Book a stay at our hotels in Oklahoma City in June for Red Earth, the world's largest Native American festival. Visit any time for a full immersion in the city's frontier heritage.

The check in person was so delightful and energetic that we knew our stay would be great. She made us feel like she was checking in an old friend. Room and facilities were just as expect from a HIX. [More] Great. I'm sure we will be back. [Less]

Thank you for supporting a US Marine
By mznb1u
I travel frequently for business and always stay at IHG brand hotels when they are available. My son is a US Marine and was home for the holidays prior to reporting to his permanent duty station in [More] San Diego, CA. To help him out, I decided to book rooms for his five day drive to San Diego using my Rewards Points. When booking the room online, I noticed that there was a requirement that one of the occupants of the room be 21--my son is 20 but more responsible than most 40 year olds. In any event, I called the hotel prior to booking because I did not want my son to run into any problems. To my surprise, the first IHG hotel I called in the Oklahoma City area would not allow me to book the room without speaking with a manager--and there was no manager on duty! I then contacted your hotel and spoke with Christian. She was very helpful and approved the reservation and said there would be no problems for my son. To be safe, I called the hotel the next morning and Latoya assured me that my son would not have any issues upon check in. I understand the reason for age limits when booking a room; however, there should be an absolute waiver of that requirement for men and women who are actively serving this country. Thank you Christian and LaToya for doing the right thing! [Less]

Clean, Safe, Comfortable, Wi Fi, Tv, Breakfast
By GWashington3
My son and I had travelled to Tulsa by air to pick up new car he purchased and then we drove home to California on Interstate 40. We drove most of the day and got home on the evening of the third day [More] having driven 1700 miles. The HIE accommodations worked perfectly. An hour or two before we were going to stop I called in and made a reservation. We had dinner, watched TV, checked the internet and crashed. We did the same thing the next day stopping at HIE in Gallup. We had breakfast got off early and made it home to Felton, CA in one shot. [Less]
