After a stressfull night, this hotel was a sweet relief.
The first night on the road as my Fiancé' and I began our trip cross country moving to the west coast, we where extremely tired and stressed out. We began the day with a list of problems when loading
our trailer which we used for our move. Getting to the point, we finally reached PA around 12:00am-1:00am and where ready for a good nights rest. Well let me say, 4 hours later, and after already checking into 2 other hotels which both were completely gross and unacceptable #I.E. Hair in the sheets of the beds, dirty tables, etc...#. We finally found our home for the night at the Holiday Inn Express in King of Prussia. Even though at this point it was somewhere between 4:00am-5:00am and no answer from the IHG contact number after waiting 20-30 minutes #granted it was very earlier in the morning, but it is a 24/7 service as listed# in an effort to book through my membership to no avail. The representative working the front desk, Rodney, was completely understanding, incredibly hospitable, and extremely nice. I still remember his response when I first called before driving in "We have rooms, it's no problem at all, we will be happy to have you. Come right in." Not only did he help us get a great room under these extreme circumstances, he also ensured us a good nights sleep by offering an extended check out, which trust me, we truly needed. The rooms are very clean and very fresh, the beds and pillows very comfortable, and the bathroom extremely clean. My only complaint is that we where only able to use their wonderful rooms for such a short time due to our personal circumstances. Thank you Rodney, and thank you Holiday Inn Express at King of Prussia, for giving us a nice and relaxing end to an otherwise horrible and frustrating day. [Less]
